ok i heard you guys talking about no two cpus are equal,but what about big advertising of amd64 for overclocking? look what ive done:(from ripken article ) cpu core voltage: 1.65v ldt(dram multi): 3x dram/fsb: 2/1 =0.5 of cpu/fsb but highest i can go with cpu fsb is 215 or it wont pass ide detection and i cant higher the vcore voltage cause with current i have 45c.and even with current(215) i pass the superpi 32m and occi test but occi torture fails. even gave ht link voltage +0.1 and dram voltage +0.1. what the ****?

you all focused on gpu,what about cpu? whats the minimum cpu requierment?

god ****,at last,the problem solved.it was the **** WINDOWBLINDS theme i applied weaks ago i changed to classic theme of windows and bingo everything is cool now,maybe some effect or something. thanks all of you guys.

actualy i removed my second 6600 and over clocked the first one to CORE CLOCK:357,MEMORY CLOCK:612 and have the same performance but use smaller textures. and as for settings i think a 1200x1024 with aa4x and as16x would be enough.

ok i even tried repairing my windows but no good. should i give up and format my drive?

actualy i didnt use that utiliy,i hate dos programs.when my system starts after the setup,ide detection screen it says smart is disabled.freaky thing is i dont have any option in the bios for it and my bios ver is F9.

its not ide cable,i changed it anyway but no change.and i didnt install any driver for my ide,except the new nforce 6.70 driver and is installed in both of my windows's. and about the smart feature,its disabled and no option in my bios for it.kinda creepy.

this is awkward i monitored my process's and its the explorer that goes 99%.can it be virus or spyware? i checked my system with kav and spybot.but nothing.

ok i fixed my hdd error with norton system work 2006 tools and uninstalled my av and still have the problem.i ran perfmon and cpu,pages file,avg. disk queue all goes to highest level when i browse my folders specialy near hang up when right click on them. funny thing is that i have two windows,the other one i use for my games and several services disabled.i have no such a problem with that windows and i didnt have in this one since few weaks ago. help please.

ok i had 2x 512 3.3.3.8 (cl,rcd,rp,ras) and i just bought two new 1gb ram.problem is one of them is 3.3.3.8 and another one is 3.4.4.8.i ran everest memory benchmarks and didnt notice much of a diffrence from my las memories.so will the performance increas if i change the 2.4.4.8 with another 3.3.3.8(only choice if i change one of them)? or will i have problem with current modules?

ok i read the articles and other topics about gpu and cpu overclocking,but as far as i didnt see any software that test the cpu overclock settings without applying it can anyone tell me how to overclock my cpu to get the maximum performance? and i just downloaded the latest NGO driver(based on 81.26) and overclocked my 6600 core clock from 300 to 357 and memory clock from 500 to 612. my specs are: k8n pro-sli athlon 3200 venice

i wanted to know if a raid 160gb sata hard make any diffrence in game playing against an only one 160gb sata hdd(same brand/model).and also does 1gb ram have diffrence with 2gb ram(in games)?

is ther any software that makes it possible to copy my files from one hdd to another from dos(not windows of course).cause both have same partition names(c,d,e..) so i dont think i can boot up the two of them at the same time.

ok i downloaded the sisoft sandra lite and it have both main temp and power temp.in everest the option for these two are avaliable but it doesnt work.but sandra doesnt have tray option for temps. any other software that will monitor all my temps in tray?

teqquy i found it in mpc and it worked but what about powerdvd?

i have k8n pro-sli doesnt it have the information about main temp? i have everest 2.80.534 but no info about main or even ram temp.why is that?
