anyway.its fixed now.i just repaired my winsock and worked.

ok my windows is ****ed up.please someone help.this mornin i restarted mt wndows and when windows asked for user and pass it showed wallpaper and after 10-15 min programms started showing but 2 of them showed an error that said "winsock startup failed" so i went through my event viewer and i saw about 10-15 of my services didnt startup during the win startup with diffrent reasons like "hung on starting" or "a non-recoverable error accured during a database lookup" and one of them showed that these drivers didnt load: "alpha 2R,nvport,TDIFilter". some of those services are from these services: dhcp client,w32time,background intelligent transfer service,ipsec,ICS... .and of course my network connectivity with any interface is lost. sorry for long story but please help me. and btw before the restart i got my adobe reader updated a few days ago that neede restart and i didnt till this mornin and i got a icon pack from themexp.org that installed some program named NEWDOTNET and i got it removed with kav and spybot. please any solution?

first ive been using it for more than 1 month and this happened suddenly since a few days ago. and i havnt installed or changed anything. second is that i dont have the installer it was just a zip file that had register and unregister .bat files and i tried unregistring and then registering again but no diff.

when i start my avedesk after a few or more minutes it starts increasing its memory usage.it was using around 2gb memory last night.anyone seen somethin like this?

im using 2003 enterprise edition.and this was the first time i tried to install iis but ok ill try reinstalling it. i never had a problem like this on 2000 server.

ok i installed IIS service with needed and must install components but the snap-in does not apear in admin tools.why?

i was wondering if the asr backup file that have to be stored in diskette can be written in a flash usb or somewhere else? any way that we can change the destination?

have you tried disabling the sygate and see if the problem still stands?

ok this one is new in ver9.when i load an image in my opera ,when its done i right-click on it and choose save image but then opera ask me for a location and then download the file in transfer tab.but its already loaded and no need to redownload it,or maybe i want the image the way it is even if its not finished. anyone knows how to solve this? or i have to switch back to 8.

how can i hide/remove file folder size in a drive properties. forexample: there are two folder in drive d:,first one is 1 and second one is 2 gb size.i wanna remove second one size so when i get the property of d i see 1gb. Title edited - this is a question - not a how-to. --Zxian

ok i installed this new game "devil may cry 3:special edition" and the movement in the game are kinda screwed.i push forward and it goes left and down goes to right... . i serached google and there were others with the same problem but some people managed to remap the bottons and axes with these two softwares: 1.joytokey 2.controlmk but joytokey just map the joypad bottons to keyboard key and the other one i dont know what the hell it does. can anyone give me hand over here?

the dockshellhook.dll is in objectdock folder and msctfime.ime is in system32. i know both of them are safe but just wondering what they do?

have you tried Annonymity 4 Proxy or simpler one Multi proxy ? i used to work with multiproxy but currently using annonymity4proxy and it rocks.

i downloaded and installed the core force firewall ,it totaly rocks.i have tried kerio winroute trial before and was satisfying but this one is the best.thanks dohnert. if i find a useful program for ad/pop up filtering i will replace my own pc outpostfirewall with this.

a server that has routing enabled and nat configured with a dial-up modem.so server+routing. and also any ips/ids software if the firewall doesnt have one.

looking for a av and firewall solution for server.any idea? or where to look for?
