Google search for "Registry Finder 1.0". It will delete all keys related to a program/supplier at the same time. Works great like when changing printers from one brand to another. $20.00 for a key.

Use AutoPatcher XP. Much safer!

The wife was reading her email when a window came up asking if she wanted to Compress the email folders to save space on the drive. She clicked yes, and now I have no past email other than todays. Any way to uncompress the folders and reinstate my email? The storage location is NOT on C drive, but on L drive which is a common drive for multiple O/S booting. The folders still show to be in the 795MB total, but now only contain a few messages. I do not include L drive in system restore for the simple reason W2000 doesn't have system restore, which is one of my operating systems. Dummy here didn't think to run a Acronis True Image backup of "L"!

My new Pioneer DVR-111 woundn't burn at 16X until I replaced the ribbon with a good quality 80wire/40pin Ultra IDE cable. Now it does with Ritek 16X media. This is with Nero 7, Roxio 8, or CloneDVD2.

You need software like Power DVD to play DVD videos. Google for Windows Media Player Classic 6.4.8.4 which will play DVD videos and it's free.

I've been told that there is a way to put "System Restore" from XP into 2003 Server. It's complicated but does anyone know where I can find the info?

Fixed: I was missing 6 out of 8 registry keys. Exported from a W2000 registry and put into XP. Prints fine now. http://forums.devshed.com/windows-help-34/...ror-133545.html PS: The cause of my problem was that I had Outlook Express installed, and then put in Office "Outlook". This didn't cause it but then I removed (uninstalled) Outlook; which removed these registry keys. I guess that ONE mail program is enough without stiring the pot!

No I'm not trying to open an Outlook .pst in Express. When I copied the .pst file in "C" documents to a mail folder in a common drive "L"; it won't open in Outlook. All I'm trying to do is quit using Outlook Express and use Office 2003 Outlook; but I need the save mail .pst folder on a different drive for all future mail to be saved to instead of "C" Documents. Each of my operating systems are on their own "C" drive (removable bootable trays), so I'm trying to locate all mail from all O/S's in a common folder. This works just fine in Outlook Express, but I can't figure how to do this in Outlook if it's possible?

I tried this and it's fine, but I can't open the new .pst file using any program. Any other ideas. I can't believe that Outlook is that much different that Outlook Express!

May be impossible, but is there a way to switch to "Outlook" for mail and select the save folder to a different drive instead of "C\My Documents"??? I boot four differant operating systems and store all of my mail (Outlook Express) from all systems into a common folder in "L" drive named "NT-W2K-XP-Borg Outlook Express Mail". This way I can always find my latest mail in each operating system. I can't seem to do this with Outlook 2003. Would it let me do this in an older version of Office? Any help would be great!

CloneDVD-2 will do your job. You can hand select what you want to eliminate or shrink.

Could someone explain the difference between the 6600 and the 6600GT cards. I'm not a gamer but need to upgrade my "old" nvidia card.

Just boot to Safe Mode and do a "system restore" to a time prior of this installation.

Have you tried just booting to the Mandrake CD? It will give you a method to share your Windows HD with Linux. It will shrink the 2000 Server partition and create a Linux partition. LOL.

This can be done using Bart's "PEBuilder". Use ULTRA ISO to open PEBuilder; add the programs you want to PEBuilder (instructions available); remake a new ISO and burn. Be aware that this will probably NOT fit on a CD but requires a bootable DVD.
