well i told my perents to get the speakers but they didit have altec left so they got the logitech ones there petty good for $39 lol

well i heard that people had probloms with the logitech ones and that logitech one sounding like crap so i go with the altec probloy becasue all i need is speakers that will sound good nothing massive any thing just for my older computer that will sound nice

No, no, no! Can your laptop play crysis then??? Sure you never forget older games but you can't sit on them all the time. They get...old, fast if you know what I mean. Actually Prey is a good game that plenty of people play and it came out more than two years ago. COD 4 is still one of the most popular online games right now and came out about a year and a half ago. Not forgotten! And you can't say you will forget the newer games yet anyway as you can still remember them Didn't say it was about graphics. The gameplay of some new games is just amazing. Playing COD 4 and Bioshock is like watching a movie! EDIT: And awergh, I said ALL the UT series games. And I also recommended UT 2004. Just because the first one may be better does not mean you should not play 2004. If you only played the game you thought was the best, you would get bored pretty quick now wouldn't you? lol just looking at jb hi fi paper now see NEW games for about $15 - 30 each some of the games you said too and then i see star craft for $15 and diablo1 for $10 which is a game thats been out for 11 years and s***ting all over newer games i think am just gettting old or some thing lol just dont seem to play or like games as much i uesd to new games are allright i guess just i am a old guy i like old games old movies (like chuch norris and old star wars) and old music(eric claptoon guns and roses and jimi hendix and old tv shows (like macgver and walker texas ranger and the old simpsons shows) i was ment to be born in the 60s but for some reson borned in the 90s lol

you need a program that watchs the registry and see whats the program is installing when you install the program but that would be hard and annoying trying to make bat file and stuff

oh ya all i wanted was the mixer lol some thing that i can do to customise my card to do things like turn eax off or on and things like that like changing the thing i forget whats it called you know the thing like 22 khz or 24 khz

hey i bought a sound blaster 5.1 for my older computer from ebay its works fine just in the manuel its says you get this Diagnostic and troubleshooting utility Creative Diagnostics Introduction to the Sound Blaster 5.1 software suite Creative WaveStudio Creative Recorder Creative PlayCenter Creative Mixer where can i get these programs i didit get any cd with the sound card just the sound card so i download the drivers from creative

all right i just did it the easyer way told windows to install from the install folder so you start the program and let it expract and then go to temp and find the drivers tell windows and let windows install(may ask for windows me disk(iused windows me)) or if you dont wanna go to temp and all just download this http://members.driverguide.com/driver/deta...6b1e93f983d7bf2 mabye MDGx can add this to hes website for people with the sb 5.1 pci but i did this on windows me may not work on windows 98 but sure it will some one else have to try

well on the card is says SB0680 and plus in white letter on the top right corner it says SOUND BLASTER so is my a audigy ls or not ?

i dont know justr its a sound blaster 5.1 and live drivers wont work becasue its not a a Live! card EMU10K1 chipset... how do i tell ? see the driver wont start at all with windows 98 as it says its not support OS but with with windows me it install just this error commes when installing the drivers cannot load a crucial installer component (thk3216.dll) exiting... ???????? gee creative is a** holes make things so hard for us some one mind giving me windows xp ? lol
