if you don't modify the files you don't have nothing to take care. anyway i've read from m$ that they aren't going to pursuit people sharing patched files (like uxtheme.dll), even being illegal. if you use them is at your own risk

i only edited skins.ini and skinsmui.ini. associations are created from a batch file.

what about "registering file extensions unattended"? it contains all the info you need (believe me i created it ). just search for it

if you mean those used on the dialog, they're not icons, are bmp resources from 14353 to 14356. if you mean the rest of icons on windows, most of them are there, the rest are around dlls on system32, mshtml.dll, shdocvw.dll... those are some of them

@asbsamsf, but mine is mine 2mb smaller (some skins removed) and i don't need the certificate b/c i just preserve wmp compatibility even with wmp9 removed. also this is interesting, if i'm not wrong, if you change the file size (you did it editing the rcdata string), then m5 checksum is incorrect and certificate won't be correct...
