erm... using the assistant to create images... then rightclicking the virtual drive device and choosing "mount image"... just play with the options/interface is really easy
vpu should be left enabled (it sometimes help at the time of recovering from a video hang). once the screen goes black wait for a minute or so, perhaps it can recover the video. you can try downclocking your card...
for what i've understood, modifying files for your personal use is not illegal. always as long as you don't share your knowledge or modified files. ps: ... leave regedit out of this lol
without entering the illegal part you can always create a image of your original cd with alcohol for example. then mount it on a virtual drive enabling all emulations.
first opinion... ugly but promising 3d toolbar looks fugly like the general old fashioned luna color. channels menu is not something i like and i miss a close button on every tab. btw, is still soon to judge it. tab browsing seems interesting...

usually just locating the 4 cds on 1 dir and burning the resulting folder should be enough. start copying from the last cd and if you're prompted to overwrite do it
my next pc will be mainly just an upgrade of components. maybe a new cpu+mobo and a graphic card; if this was the case i would go for the latest amd64.
