also you can use those but instead of "spawn" use "testmodel" if you dont fancy fighting them. not all are animated, such as the scientist, but he plays no part in the demo anyway, apart from the movie. also, i cant get the mancubus to load it crashes the game, some missing melee attack anim file or something.

For spawning monster using the console: spawn monster_zombie_fat spawn monster_zombie_commando_cgun spawn monster_demon_demon spawn monster_demon_imp spawn monster_demon_bruiser spawn monster_demon_mancubus spawn char_scientist1 spawn monster_demon_hellknight you could always bind those to keys too either edit doomconfig.cfg or in console type bind * spawn monster_demon_imp * being your chosen key for the monster you want to bind.

For altering your keys, find these in doomconfig.cfg and alter them to look like here: bind s "_back" bind w "_forward" bind a "_moveleft" bind d "_moveright" That's assuming you want A and D to strafe left and right. If you want them to turn left and right, use "_left" and "_right", respectively. The pin code for the door i mentioned earlier is 924 so im told, but havent tested it yet.

best bit for cutting windows isnt the disc everyone seems to mention but one of those toothed metal rods. beter still is a dril and jigsaw method for cutting window holes out.. you will go through a lot of dremel bits other wise and seriously wear your dremel out too.

ok few tips for you, bring down the console and type "exec runact.cfg" to load and watch the E3 demo movie. dont like the window size? want to change res? open doomconfig.cfg, Use Wordpad, look for seta r_mode "3" and change it, 4 is 800x600, 5 is 1024x768 also find seta r_fullscreen "0" and change it to "1" ---------------------------------------- all the F keys do things such as turn clipping off, god mode, wire frames, etc. have a play, as found in doomconfig file: ---------------------------------------------- While in doomconfig.cfg if you have 4.1 or 5.1 sound you might try play with seta s_numberOfSpeakers "2" i altered mine to 4... sounds different. also theres seta r_stereo "0" i set that to "1" also on map 2 theres a door with a pin number, i couldnt figure out what the number was so i turned clipping off and just "floated" through it, does anyone know the number?

his site is completly intel and nvidia biased. i have an nvidia card, but im not biased about them, i have it because i also have an ATI 8500 and i feel that ATI make a beter product that nvidia, BUT, ATI have very bad driver support for their products as everyone knows, until ATI pull their finger out they wont be able to properly challenge or surpass Nvidias market share. ok.. example of how toms hardware works, AMD release a new CPU that thrashes the fastest intel around. tom does a review of it and says how fast it is etc etc, then at the end says something like "but in 3 months intel release their latest offering so id wait for that to come out before buying a new CPU" points: 1) He has no idea if the new intel will be any beter, it may be worse or hardly an advancement on the AMD model. 2) Theres always something beter out in a few months, its how the industry lives and breathes. 3) Why when he does an intel or Nvidia review doesent he say "but wait 3 months and ATI/AMD will have their latest offering out before you buy a new CPU/Graphics card" its lame, biased, and i wouldnt trust a review from a site with that kind of attitude or opinion, how can you believe what they say about these products if they are taking back handers or whatever the reason for the bias is? It undermines the whole reason for reviewing products in the first place, to find the best, or best value, whoever it may be made by.

bit harsh drew, it wasnt YOUR mobo man lol. .NET, have you checked theres nothing behind the mother board? take EVERYTHING out of the case and put the mobo on a magazine and build it up with minimum stuff on it, eg, dont add cd drive, just floppy and hdd, no cards, then boot it. if it boots add the cd drive, boot it again, if it works, add something else and keep doing it till you find the problem. i have seen people build machines that appear to be dead and it turns out to be a screw down the back of the mobo or a mobo riser in the wrong place shorting it out. if your lucky you wont have damaged it. is the power cable the modern ATX single plug type? or has it got two plugs that go side by side into the motherboard?
