Taken is a 20-hour mini-series which charts 50 years of alien abductions across three families. The story will begin in France during World War II and then slowly bring us up to the present day. The series is due to be screened by the Sci-fi Channel in the US in December before being shown on BBC Two and BBC Choice in early 2003. Episodes in the UK will be around 90 minutes with the exclusion of adverts (as its showing on BBC) The new series will feature Matt Frewer, best-known for playing Max Headroom, and Heather Donahue, who starred in The Blair Witch Project. The success of Band of Brothers, also produced by Spielberg, has meant there was huge interest in acquiring the show. As the second world war epic attracted audiences of up to 6 million viewers when it was broadcast on BBC2 last autumn. Steve gibson was the victim of a DrDOS not xombie attack, he got it wrong the first time and altered his story. Basically ... Lets pretend i spoof my ip number so that it looks just like yours, ok now if i ping another machine somewhere it will reply to my faked ip.... which is the same as your ip. you get pinged by the server i pinged not me! This is what Steve Gibsons website was a victim of an not direct packets... you probably new that egghead but im explaining as a few folks reading the thread dont know anything about DDOS, DrDOS etc

change your host rev! also, heres another DrDOS guide: http://grc.com/dos/drdos.htm basically its just pings being sent from lots of [usually hacked]machines to a target - thats the most common way of doing it and the simplest way of explaining it.

Can you tell us what operating systems they all have on them? are you using a Hub? Router? or X-over cables? Wireless? are all the machines identical? if so you could maybe ghost the hard drive over from PC2 onto the hard disk of PC3 and it should work. are they hooked up in a row .. or are PC2 and PC3 connected to the hub/router/or PC1 ? Maybe PC3 has different Connection details in and is trying to connect to your DSL provider when you connecte it up.. and in doing so is knocking the network out ? we could do with more info about youyr setup to really be able to solve this for you... if you could post it maybe someone will spot the problem! my 1.76 ghz Athlon XP 2100+ has the same temperatures as that, gaming and idle can you tell a difference? i never could tell the difference overclocking a cpu like that.. its only a few mhz

i have heard of this before using win2k server, and there is a fix for your problem, but for the life in me i cant remember. i will try to find the solutution for you, i think its some service that is running when it shouldnt... or isnt when it should. i forget as i said. ill post back if i find it.

No it connects in under 10 seconds, it could well be your pesky router. A new version is coming out with beter port configuration. enabling you to change what ports it uses etc etc. People also have problems if they run zone alarm, or norton firewall. They block ports you havent told them to.. which i hate! Blubster is for MP£ only.. but its planned to include music videos and other music formats. They guy who programmed and released this i think he was about 19 when he did it.. and hes about 20 / 21 now. **** that makes me feel an old llama!

i smell something bad. Personally i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole at that price (what have they got to hide by charging 5% for pickup... like you said its unheard of) and you could build a beter rig for the money i bet.
