OK, for those of you who haven't heard: Aparently all P4 CPUs from 2.4B and up have Hyper Threading, that is disabled by default. The CPUs contain a small programable area, similar to the BIOS of the Motherboard, that control different features / paramameters of the CPU. One of them is Hyper Threading. The Big question is now. Is there a program out there that updates the Microcode to enable HT? ... have searched for ages and found nothing but Forum discusions and "It is posible" articles ... Anyone?

I would sign up for the No-ip.com DNS service. It has an option to update the IP as a windows service, which will be invisible to the user! ... So asuming that the thief is stupid enough to go online, without reinstalling everything, the IP will be updated and you will be able to check it at no-ip.com! ... the cool bonus is, of course, that you get a very good DNS service too You can create a free account here. =Crispy
