  1. I gave him that... Its the same as the orange... Basically, just a little program that has this animated character running and jumping and falling all over your screen... If you open up a bunch of them, they can interact! BTW, topic title fixed!
  2. Oh my... They will all be merged within 2 minutes... OK... All merged... Hopefully...
  3. Double post? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38066&st=0 [ Merged. ]
  4. First, please don't use BOLD or COLORS in your message. Second, please search the forums because this was asked many times before... I suggest searching for: lost "xp password" "ntpasswd" That should do the trick!
  5. If you're going to get a good motherboard, go with Asus... I don't know of any good motherboard that comes with a processor... You almost always have to buy the processor seperately... Also, as a case, I would go with a nice Antec one!
  6. Ssshhhh... You don't have to let the whole world know I'm getting a Mac! Don't worry, everyone!! I'm still loyal to Windows... The iBook is just for screwing around...
  7. Will this help? http://www.astromike.com/wireless.html Are you sure you don't have two adapters on the network with the same MAC address?? Believe it or not, my aunt had two computers that had the adapters with the same MAC address...
  8. Because the signal from my wireless router in my basement doesn't reach my room... Plus, I have a wired router in my room because I have more than one computer in my room... Also, I need the wireless in my room so I have wireless internet access all over my house, now!
  9. The antenna costs just as much as the router!
  10. I'm running a BEFW11S4 (wireless), a BEFSR81 (wired), and a WRT54G (wireless with 3rd party firmware). http://www.linksysinfo.org/ I'm using WiFi-Box... And best of all, its Open-Source!
  11. You would probably need crossover cables... But to buy crossover cables, it would probably cost the same or more than buying a $20 router... Go with the router!
  12. But then again, I have MAC Filtering and a 128-bit WEP key.. I also have my antennas pointing into the house and not up straight... So the signal isn't so strong outside!
  13. Apart from having "soaresroom" as my SSID, yeah, maybe I can confuse them!!
  14. I'm glad its working for you!
  15. I highly doubt that, because I have a wireless router right next to my wireless keyboard/mouse receiver and everything works fine... Also, both operate on completely different frequencies.
  16. Is it wireless or Bluetooth? The operating range really depends on what you buy. I have a Logitech MX Duo with a wireless mouse and keyboard and they both work within 20-30 feet. I am able to go downstairs to my kitchen and control my music from my computer in my room without any difficulty (there's a bunch of buttons on my keyboard for playing back music).
  17. I like ObjectDock, however I'm starting to have doubts about it... It uses up a little too much RAM and already started to crash on me...
  18. I think Bluetooth is for short range mice and keyboard and the other wireless mice and keyboards can go up to 30 feet before they stop working (I've tried it and I can control my computer from one floor below me).
  19. OK... Can the other two computers access the Internet? If you disable the firewall on the wireless computer, does it do anything different?
  20. Bluetooth is very insecure... There have been some cases where neighbours had keystrokes logged on someone elses computer because of the insecurity of Bluetooth... I would go with regular wireless keyboard.
  21. Maybe this will help: http://www.astromike.com/wireless.html
  22. Half my house had a blind spot... BTW, I also bought this router because its the one with the Linux firmware... I flashed it last night with a hacked firmware and now I can do tons of things, like increase the signal strength, telnet into it, etc... I think I can do roaming...
  23. What do you mean by making it look handwritten? Like making it look like a pencil is going back and forth writing it out?
  24. Yup, eMax is great! http://www.emaxhosting.com
