I'm on msfn since January but i did not introduce myself. Now it's my time. I'm a french man from everywhere, now Canada! How did it begin, tired of reinstalling my softwares every time i install Windows. I decided to make some silent install script but i did not know anything in this. My brother told me to talk a look at MSFN 'the bible'! From this day, i never passed on day without going on this web site. I enjoy visiting MSFN everyday. One question, I'm on vista x64 business. Does I really need a real time protection because most of virus are 32bit. Right now i'm using KIS 8. I don't have a good knowledge in this subject. can you guys give me some informations ?

No, i did it without the setup.exe

You can save your config file from the Applications Setting Management. The config File 'install.cfg' is working with versions 6, 7 but not 8 at least not yet. About the setup.ini i did not figure out about Control Parental. I tried a lot of variable but i couldn't get Control Parental feature removed. Now I'll focus on 8 versions.

You can remove Windows Mail.Check Tweak tab in Vlite to turn off Autorun(Autorun itselt not removable yet but you can disable it). I didn't know that autorun is one component you can remove. Good to know

You must have the wrong iso file. Just wait, maybe someone have a solution No, i have the correct ISO file. I want to integrate SP1 into Vista Enterprise and it doesn't come up on the list. I did an integration on Business and now when i enter a CD key on installation, it fails and says installation needs to be restarted. Anyone? Vista business and Enterprise are two diferent versions and don't use the same key.

You can have this error with uac installed on your computer. do this in cmd before installing your software REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v EnableInstallerDetection /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

That's good. I checked it in task manager and saw some activities for pkgmgr. It just took 2h30 but it worked.

Does this work with Windows N edition x64? A friend of mine tried it and told me that nothing happened. He waited more than 1h50
