Normally, you would make the recovery disc's your self. You can call/e-mail HP to have one sent for a price. Or you could just load the drivers from their site and reinstall Vista urself

I wouldn't say no one is interested, I was just trying to give some advice, I had to complain a lot to get my drivers. I had a HDD go out after 2 months and when they sent my new HDD they sent Vista drivers and I asked for XP. I don't ee why the are pushing Vista, must be a deal they made with MS.

You can get most of the drivers by contacting thier support by e-mail. I got a 812on from them and they sent me links for my drivers.

The CD is probably not bootable, maybe it was corrupted. I would use another PC to rebuild that XPCD.

I currently have RVMUpdatePack2.1.11 but I have see XPCD's with update till August. I just want to keep my XPCD current. Thanks.

I have just crested my XPCD with SP3, I could go back to SP2 but, I have came across a issue I would like to fix. If you can please give me more insight on this issue. Thanks.

Rick was helping me out with this a couple days ago. When you export the krnl, you can name it it the one you use on your PC or all four of them, send it to a cab and just paste in your XPCD and over write the old. It has worked for me that way. You can also do it the other way Rick said. He knows his s***.
