So far not good, as nLite is only for personal use, which you agreed on when accepting the license agreement
  2. For Adobe Reader, simply download Regshot and make a snapshot of your Registry. Change the settings as you please in Adobe Reader and make another snapshot. Compare both snapshots to see which Registry keys are affected by your changes. For the other two, I've never looked into it, so I can't be of much service I'm afraid.
  3. As the topic starter includes a part for the serial number in his tutorial, asking for the final file basically equals asking for warez as this file would contain someone else's serial number, which is not allowed according to the forum policy.
  4. Your question isn't clear to me I'm afraid, so I can't be of much service. Perhaps you can re-write your question in a more understandable manner? From what I did understand from your posting, is that this is a specific problem with the Arabic language. I would therefore advise you to also seek help from other users on the internet who use an Arabic language unattended installation.
  5. Just some ideas: You have a virus, your hard disk or memory contains errors, your source is corrupted, your nLite installation is corrupted, et cetera. This seems to be a specific nLite problem though, so I would kindly advise you to ask a moderator to move your thread to the appropriate nLite section on this forum. You will be able to get more specific nLite help there.
  6. I don't quite understand what the problem is I'm afraid. You can simply change the cursors as you please and save your own custom theme which you can import during your unattended setup. Can you please be more specific in regards to the problem which you encounter?
  7. You give too little information to be of much service. Does the folder where you want to save your movie to exist? Do you have the appropriate rights to be able to write to this folder? If this is a network folder, do you still have a connection to your network? Are your movie source files still available when you're trying to save your movie? Are your source files not in use by a different process or write protected? Is there enough free disk space on the partition where you want to save your movie to? Is there enough free disk space on the partition where Windows Movie Maker resides? Is there enough free disk space on the partition where your temporary files are stored? Do you have an anti-virus solution running? If so, which and have you tried to save your movie while your anti-virus solution is disabled? Have you check your hard disk(s) for errors?
  8. First of all there is a special section for nLite on this forum, you should have asked your question there. It seems like you have removed certain components which are needed, according to the nLite FAQ removed components cannot be restored (easily), which would mean that you will have to start over, with a clean source. To find out which components you removed which you shouldn't have, post your last session information so that other nLite users can have a look at what you did. Also, please ask a moderator to move your topic to the right section on this forum.
  9. The "5th go" on the same source? If so, then I can imagine that you perhaps removed certain components during an earlier "go". Re-copy your source from your original installation disc and start over to see if the problem occurs with a fresh source as well.
  10. Did you even bother reading my previous reply, as I already answered your question there You're now officially added to my ignored users list
  11. Your hard disk seems to have died. You could first check to see if it's still connected properly; open up your case and have a look around. If it's connected properly still, you can test your hard disk for errors. Since you'll have to open the case anyway, check which hard disk you have. Go to the manufacturers web site; no doubt will they offer a tool to scan your hard disk for errors.
  12. First of all, is the file on your installation disc? Does this error show up on other machines too when trying to install? If so, it could be that your installation disc is damaged or corrupted. If not, it could be that your hard disk is damaged or that the memory isn't working properly anymore. If this is the case, scan your hard disk and memory for errors. You give too little information to be of more service. Please check the above and let us know the outcome.
  13. 1. Download BBIE.EXE and use it to rip your boot sector files from your installation disc to a file on your hard disk. Use an application such as Nero to burn your files to DVD and make sure that you specify that Nero should use the ripped boot sector files for the DVD. 2. It depends on what your writer can burn. Some can burn only one of these formats, others can burn both. It also depends on the reader you want to read them in later. My laptop has more difficulty reading DVD-R, than DVD+R, hence I always use DVD+R's to burn my files on.
  14. Run tools such as Process Explorer and Process Monitor to find out which process is blocking the file.
  15. The Silverlight file seemed to be fine, but I re-downloaded it anyway to be certain. Updated 7ZIP as I wasn't using the latest version. Also used the latest test release of HFSLIP, which is one day newer than my previous one and I used the latest Silverlight script which you provided. And now everything went smooth, no errors! Now all I need to do is test Silverlight to see if it works. Cheers!
  16. A1: You need to use the right command line parameters to install applications silent. The Unattended Guide contains switches for many applications. Applications not mentioned in the Unattended Guide, you can find their switches on this forum. A2: Why would you want to convert an EXE-file to an MSI-file? Depending on which application the file belongs to, you can silently install either by using the right command line switches.
  17. Possibly the file is corrupted, your memory or hard disk may have errors, et cetera.
  18. A quick reply from my side; the ISO-file is not created in your HFTOOLS folder, but in it's parent folder, which is for me HFSLIP, so in short: not here X:\HFSLIP\HFTOOLS, but simply here X:\HFSLIP.
  19. If you upgrade from Internet Explorer 6 to Internet Explorer 7, your favorites won't be erased, so there is no need then to transfer anything. If you want to copy your favorites from Internet Explorer 6 to another machine which has Internet Explorer 7, you can simply copy them over via USB stick for example; see what Kelsenellenelvian wrote above as well.
  20. Indeed, there are plenty of free players around which support Real format. Please note the word free. Winamp is not free, you have to pay for the full package, so if Winamp make money off it, Real wants a share. There are also various players around which illegally support Real format.
  21. You could add the following to your Registry via a script for example or you could automatically create a shortcut in the Startup folder in your Start Menu, which you can achieve in different ways; you could use Shortcut.exe in a batch script to create it, you could use default SFX commands, or you could simply copy over an existing shortcut from your Start Menu to the Startup folder using a batch script. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] "Application"="%ProgramFiles%\\Application\\Application.exe"
  22. The more formats RealPlayer supports, the bigger the chance is that people will use this software, the more people Real can spread their advertisements and such to, so the more money Real will make. See the reply by "geek", it's because of legal reasons. If they would want to support Real Media, no doubt that they would have to pay for it.
  23. I assume you're in a workgroup, rather than a domain? If so, you need to enter a username as known on the other machine and it's password. If this other computer doesn't have a password set, simply entering the username is sufficient. If you don't want to be asked for a password when connecting to another machine within your workgroup, you can try to create an account on the other machine with the same name as your own username and with the same password, or lack thereof. Another option would be to use guest accounts.
  24. To clear things up a bit more, any virtual solution uses their own virtual hardware and their own virtual drivers. This means that your hardware doesn't matter and also that the drivers which you normally use don't matter. You only need to install these virtual drivers. VMware comes with these virtual drivers, so simply install those and you should be fine. The only way to test your own drivers is on a real machine, instead of on a virtual one.
  25. If you post your last session then people can have a look to see what you removed.
