  1. If you use default DOS commands, no. If you would use specific copy tools, then maybe yes. Terracopy is something which comes to mind. Never really used it myself, don't know if it can be scripted, but it might give you a pointer in the right direction.
  2. According to the nLite FAQ, removed components cannot be restored. Next time please take a minute to read before asking a question please.
  3. Ask a moderator to move your topic to the section regarding WPI.
  4. I'd like to know why you don't look for answers yourself, but instead ask your question straight away here Members of the Administrator group have total control over the computer and everything on it. The user named Administrator is the default account within this group. Administrators can: Create, modify, and access local user accounts Install new hardware and software Upgrade the operating system Back up the system and files Claim ownership of files that have become damaged Do anything a Power User can The Power User class can perform any task except for those reserved for Administrators. They are allowed to carry out functions that will not directly affect the operating system or risk security. Power Users can: Create local user accounts Modify user accounts which they have created Change user permissions on users, power users, and guests Install and run applications that do not affect the operating system Customize settings and resources on the Control Panel, such as Printers, Date/Time, and Power Options Do anything a User can Power Users cannot: Access other users' data without permission Delete or modify user accounts they did not create
  5. Not enough room? I guess the target disc is FAT32? Format it in NTFS and it'll work.
  6. Of course it does, but it doesn't create you an unattended, silent installer for during your unattended setup
  7. I wouldn't remove any functionality from your build at all. Simply don't install what you don't need, disable what can be disabled, et cetera, but don't remove any functionality. What if you would later discover that you would need a certain functionality, but you have removed it from your build completely? If you need more free space on your installation medium, simply use a DVD.
  8. According to the nLite FAQ, removed components cannot be added afterwards anymore, which would mean that you will have to rebuild.
  9. According to the nLite FAQ, removed components cannot be added afterwards anymore, which means that you will need to start over.

    cant run cs

Why would you want to run a game on a server based operating system?
  11. If you need help with nLite, then why ask here and not at the nLite section of this forum?
  12. I believe it's both. If I'm not mistaken this software has been discontinued and used to be paid software.
  13. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP1 and 3.5 cannot be installed via SVCPACK.INF, or at least no one has managed to get this properly working The best way to have these installed is via RunOnce or RunOnceEx. Any applications which depends on Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP1 or 3.5 will have to be installed after the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP1 and 3.5, also via RunOnce or RunOnceEx. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 and 2.0 SP1 can be installed via SVCPACK.INF. Any applications which depends of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 or 2.0 SP1 will have to be installed after the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 and 2.0 SP1, so these applications can be installed via SVCPACK.INF as well.
  14. No, that is not a fact. You are mistaken older Norton products for home users with corporate Symantec products. Symantec Endpoint Protection is a corporate solution. ESET is fine for home use, not for use in a corporate environment. But now that I have read the opening post again, it seems like the topic starter wants a home use solution, so why would the topic starter even bother looking at corporate solutions?
  15. Have the latest version of SPTD install via SVCPACK.INF. SPTDInstallerGuessingTheNameBlah.exe add /q Have Alcohol 120% install via RunOnceEx. 16. If I would have a clue what you're on about I might be able to be of service, however I don't have the foggiest, so I would suggest you start here.
  17. 1a. Installations run via RunOnce or RunOnceEx run under user context, whereas at T13 they do not as there is no user logged in yet. Installations run via RunOnce or RunOnceEx happen after the Windows setup process is finished. I prefer to have these installations run during the Windows setup process, so that once the Windows setup process is done, the whole installation is done. But not all application installations are SVCPACK.INF compatible. Non-compatible applications will need to be installed via RunOnce or RunOnceEx still. No matter which option you choose, I advise you to install RogueSpear's Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 and 2.0 SP1 silent installation packages via SVCPACK.INF. This will enable you to install depending applications via SVCPACK.INF. 1b. It's a hobby, it used to be part of my work and it's an art to create everything myself, to get it fully working.
  18. Either you created a New Topic when you meant to choose to Add Reply, or you meant to send a private message to "nitro322". Either way, your posting doesn't make much sense
  19. I agree with the picture above, except with the first question asked: if you like video games, it's in my humble opinion better to purchase a console. Funny picture though
  20. Stop using drugs. Or re-write your posting in understandable English.
  21. 1. There is a separate nLite topic on this forum. You could have better posted your question there. 2. According to the nLite FAQ, removed components cannot be added afterwards anymore.
