  1. If you want to do this by USB-Stick, I would perform like this: 1. create folder "updates" on the stick, copy all updates into folder 2. create a batch file "setup.cmd" like this into that folder: start/wait KBxxxxxx1.exe /parameter (e.g. /quiet /noreboot) start/wait KBxxxxxx2.exe /parameter start/wait KBxxxxxx3.exe /parameter .................................................. shutdown.exe -r -f -t 15 -c "Rebooting in 15 seconds..." 3. create an "Autorun.inf" in the root of the USB-Drive: [AutoRun] open=updates\setup.cmd icon= Plugin the USB-Stick to a PC and relax.
  2. Martin H told you how to use the RunOnceEx-Section in nLite (why didn`t you post in that forum?). If you want to learn about RunOnceEx (runs perfectly with or without nLite), then give a try to this GUIDE.
  3. From your other thread(s) I know you`re NOT workink with nLite. So you got to tell us how IE7 went into your XP - it`s not included by default. Was it slipstreamed by some method, or was it installed later on running system? Do you use WindowsUpdate, are all Hotfixes used/installed?
  4. THIS is pretty illegal - please CLOSE.
  5. Keep eye on "addons" - like HERE.
  6. Just creating new XPCD with nLite and much manually work, I enjoy http://www.munichshardesthits.com/ with Screamer. Good melodic Rocksongs, not to aggressive, but fine guitars.
  7. Should be okay with CD-Image, because you build an ISO-File with nLite. This ISO is just an image of the CD - dont burn that ISO as a file on CD! It should be "ISO to Disc" or something like that. Another way is with nLite itself: You can load your folder again, only choose "ISO" in nLite, than "Burn directly to Disc".
  8. Maybe he can`t answer, cause Vista is installed since yesterday - but still booting...
  9. That`s what my second link in Post #2 explains. again: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/14/
  10. From "German-WinLite" - if you`ve got translation problems, please ask. http://german-winlite.de/wbb/index.php?pag...D=6746#post6746
  11. Does the regfile work if you register it in running system?
  12. THX @ Kurt Aust, that`s the way I did before. But I ran into problems when files where missing and couldn`t been moved.
  13. I don`t know exactly, how to do it, but: If you put a specific file in the root of the USB-Drive, you can do a automatich search, the is found, and then a drive-letter can be assigned. I`ll see, if I find a solution for this (can`t remember, how I did this...).
  14. Just create the folders makes no sense without the links in it. Maybe you`re looking for something like this: I do this with a SFX after XP- and Program-Installations. This is my SFX, but beware to execute it - it will destroy your old startmenu permanently, because it`s deleteting all older entries. DOWNLOAD
  15. Okay, you`ve got 4 partitions. Win7 should be installed, and partitions 3 &4 should be untouched. What about the 2 "untouched" partitions (former 3 & 4) - just data, or is there an OS installed? If just data, you should install like that: Partition 1 & 2 can be deleted at Win7-Setup. There`s an option "Extended" (or like this) when you boot from DVD, you`ll see the Partitionmanager. If you first delete 1 & 2 and leave the others untouched, you have left 172,1 GB free space and the former 3 &4 - now as 2 & 3. Now you install Win7 in the free space, and everything should be fine.
  16. I rebuild the RunOnce-Addon to x64-version. I wasn`t able to test it (no XP_x64), but it should work. DOWNLOAD Thread @ German-WinLite (german): http://german-winlite.de/wbb/index.php?pag...29267#post29267
  17. Maybe I totally misunderstand, but it sounds like Kelly Bundy in "Married with Children" (in Germany: Eine schrecklich nette Familie).
  18. Please attach your "Last Session.ini" - l`ll take a look over it befor your new try.
  19. jonny be good , attach your last session.ini, try whole sentences, will get whole answer
  20. Welcome @ MSFN-Forums! Please attach your "Last Session.ini" (Root of your ISO) to let us know what you`ve been doing.
  21. I`m not really sure, but I think you can correct it with this Regtweak: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ;Startmenü Keine 'Persönlich angepassten Menüs' verwenden [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "IntelliMenus"=dword:00000000 ;Startmenü Entfernt Liste der häufig verwendeten Programme aus dem Startmenü [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoRecentDocsHistory"=dword:00000001 Don`t worry about the german descriptions.
  22. I asked Forum-Leaders about "Corporate": http://www.msfn.org/board/vlk-corporate-vo...mp;hl=corporate
  23. You didn`t tell us - or maybe I just haven`t seen this?
  24. I`m pretty sure it is caused by the NIC. If you`ve got more than 1 NIC, please deactivate the Nvidia and use the other NIC for testing. If it doesn`t crash anymore, you know it`s the Nvidia-NIC. We`ll see further on after that test.
