Could be loose power lead wires on the motherboard, faulty power supply. If the hard drive is spinning down the power is cut off and windows did not shut it off.Just trying to cover the hardware angle.I'd say check all connections first, and take static precautions foremost.
The cases with a preformed spot on the Enlights are 1"x 1".I believe that's standardized for a lot of these types.I'll have to check out the clear ones though thanks.
1. Never an Intel built here either(and never a complaint),no one except diehards care. 2. Just called MA LABS to get the ball rolling and they will send me their wholesale pricelist.Very good selection too,I may just purchase an aluminum case for myself
Question for FthrJack and MSNwar.I've been putting plain AMD case badges on my machines that I sell,do either of you use custom logos with your company name? They are expensive little buggers when you get them customized.
- I would really like to be able to listen and understand my spouse when she talks to me while I'm using my computer.(either she talks too much or I use the computer too much because it happens all the time LOL).
Very nice sales advertisment MSNwar.I built a K7S5A for a customer and he hasn't called to complain.I don't usually use that mobo but got a good deal and plus I didnt read anything bad about them.I think I give too much warranty compared to yours.Mine is 1 yr. on new systems and 6 mos. on upgrades.I used a Hon Hai case and the ps was no good, but runs fine with an Antec 300w.
Powerquest,Drive Image,Drive Copy,Partition Magic 8.UT 2003.Ordered a WD 80GB HD with 8mb cache with some money I got.Shirts, and boxer shorts,Italian decaf. :santa Only 3 more days till New Years Eve. :sorcerer
Glad Techzonez is back,or is it?I still can't access the site.My understanding of DDos attacks is limited but from what I've read they most assuredly are malicious in nature. They even sent it out for a second time today.
A higher multiplier is better because it just overclocks the cpu, whereas the fsb o'clocks all your pci cards.Overclocking the fsb is ok in small increments.IE,after you bring your multiplier up and everything is stable, then bring your fsb up one at a time, thus your 1333 mhz tbird at 133 fsb with an 11 multiplier is running 1463 mhz and if you up the fsb to 134 with the same 11 mutiplier your running at 1474 mhz and also your video card bus which runs at 66 mhz would run at 67 mhz etc.I am not responsible for any damage if you decide to follow these steps.Do make sure you have good cooling for your case as well as the cpu.By the looks of your yellow box it's a good case.
I had my 1.4ghz thunderbird going 1575mhz for a long time. The benchmarks were a bit higher and it seemed to be snappier. The rule is that once you overclock test it with benchmarking(which stresses everything) and startup and shutdown tests(just startup and shutdown to make sure it does not hang),opening up big apps like photoshop. Then check the temp and decide whether you need better cooling. If it starts acting up,set er back to original specs.I think your T-bird will not suffer from the amount of o'clocking that you have done as AMD had that in mind for the T-birds,with a quality mobo of course. :santa
Congratulations to Experties and his Jerseygirl.May love be witch yous faaeva. For an early gift on Xmas eve I got UT2003.Can't wait to get home to play. :santa

Hi all I'm at my son in laws in RI.He informed me that he wants to install a wireless connection between his wife's Mac and his XP laptop from work.I have an idea of what he needs to buy but haveing never done this I could use some help.He will be getting a cable modem for the Mac.Anyone have evperience or know of a good source? :santa We are going shopping today.
What kind of chipset does your mobo have? Via,Intel? You can get the latest drivers for both.It looks like you need special drivers for your usb hub to be recognised.E-machines should have provided you with those.Did you try the hardware wizard so that you can choose the usb and then point to the cd rom to obtain the drivers? Also, browse the E-machine disk, maybe it's in there somewhere.
