-
what do you mean by how much can i send on it? if you mean Spend, somewhere less than than $120, but not sure yet. The Mushkin Redline XP4000 is a dual channel though. =/ Or 2 of This one but its so much money for ram >.<
-
which memory is a good one? and i want 1gb memory, right now i have 256mb, so are you saying i should buy 1 stick of memory that is 1gb cause i was thinking about getting 2 sticks of 512mb memory.
-
so could i pick a ram stick that is DDR 400 (PC3200)? and it will still work fine?
-
-
hmm, thats wierd, it must not be my EXACT mobo since i just checked what speed my current ram stick is and its DDR333 (PC2700). EDIT: but then again my ram stick is supposed to be 256mb but XP reads it only as 224mb which is really wierd =/
-
so by getting 2 sticks of DDR ram, you mean like buying 2 of This? or This?
-
My Mobo i think thats my mobo, it doesnt say anything about a dual channel kit =/
-
err i have Socket A, so old =(. and i tried searching my mobo model but couldnt find it. this is my mobo brand and model type Biostar M7VIG (Pro) (3 PCI, 1 AGP, 1 CNR, 2 SDR DIMM, 2 DDR DIMM, Audio, Video) Motherboard ID: 06/19/2003-KM266-8235-6A6LVB0GC-00
-
whats the difference between a dual channel kit ram and 2 normal ram cartcridges(i think i spelt that wrong)? how can i find out if my mobo can support dual channel?
-
is every single 8x AGP backward compatible? because when i went to newegg, i saw a card that said in the requirements "Requires AGP 8x slot compliant motherboard" nothing about 4x AGP. Source

i kinda agree with you there lylo, but Nintendo might suck at advertising, but they are still in the game. they are not the "media" type company like Sony is, thats why they dont advertise well, not that its a bad thing but its better for Nintendo to concentrate on one thing. Nintendo is all about gaming, no need for all that media on a console if it has nothing to do with gaming.

I want to upgrade my video card. right now i have a S3 ProSavageDDR (32MB), it sucks in my opinion. its intergrated in my motherboard, im looking for an 4x AGP compatible Video card since i dont have PCI-E x16 or AGP x8 on my mobo. and i dont intend to upgrade my mobo anytime soon. i was thinking about getting this Radeon 9600PRO since its compatible with 4x AGP. and a very decent video card under 100 bucks (since my budget is a $100. anybody think i should get it? this card is just a temporary until the end of the year. since thats when i will get the goodies. If anyone knows any other better cards please post here, and it has to be one less than a $100. and i dont intend on saving up for something bigger.

No, violent games are not what i consder to be a great game.... Sony gives us, the gaming people, what we want - for the most part. Unlike the same boring ideas from a stale company nintendo. Nintendo may have been one of the longest trends I have ever seen in the gaming industry..... "However, nintendo is the last company you would want to talk to concerning the industry. They are not in touch with the average, adult gamer. They do not understand the importance of online gaming. They do not understand the importance of consoles that do more than play games. They do not understand the importance of deep, complex and challenging games." ....... "They believe quick, shallow and simple games, fun for all ages, is what the market wants. That’s fine, for Nintendos market." - http://www.gamersmark.com/editorials/view/139/ lol, could not have said it better myslef! The gaming people are getting bored of "nintendo games". Maybe if see something impressive with the new codename "revolution", then just maybe i'll get one when i have kids later on... maybe. Long story short: Nintendo did make some really great "cool kiddy games"; Samus, Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong. StarFox was ok too. But not to forget that horrible barney box looking thing with a purse handle.... yuck! No iam not pro anything really, well except PC games.... ha. But every consol has a great feature and is missing some great features as well. "The main point is, Nintendo continues to come up with stupid move after stupid move, backed up by retard reasoning and more retard reasoning." - http://www.gamersmark.com/editorials/view/139/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well Im a gaming person and i dont want their $h1t load of music players and dvd players, they are turning the future PS3 into like some vcr that plays games. not to mention how much it will cost. and i dont think nintendo continues to come up with a stupid move with a retarted backed reasoning. the truth is Sony cant make games for crap. all they can do is hardware, not much software. You may think Nintendo is boring, but there is still many many fans out there who still like their ideas. and Nintendo is the 1st company you should talk about concerning the industry because, they are the only ones making money. while Sony and Microsoft(doesnt affect em much) loose money. and Sony doesnt touch the average adult gamer either. and if they dont understand the importance of online gaming, then why will the DS have wifi connection + Hotspots? Gamecube can go online, im sure of it because i did it. you just dont know how. thats all. they also have complex games that are challenging. lets see, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess which is coming soon, Tales Of Symphonia, etc. you just dont know unless you know alot about Nintendo, ive known about sony, i had a ps1 and ps2, i threw them away because they are worthless junk. if sony lost most of their 3rd party developers, Sony is out of the gaming industry. on the other hand i think Microsoft is doing pretty well since they are a computer type company. maybe some day microsoft might kick Nintendo out of the competition, but im sure Sony couldnt. and what do you mean they dont know the importance of consoles rather than playing games, look at the DS, no other gaming handheld can use a touch screen. think about it. and look at the future consoles, eveyone is already picking what they want thats coming out at the end of this year and next year and everyones already deciding what to get based on specs. and oh yea, just because a group amount of people think Nintendo "sucks" doesnt mean they really suck, same with me, even though i think Sony sucks doesnt mean they really suck, i just KNOW Nintendo is more better =P.
-
and for what reason does Nintendo "suck" these days? due to these new "violent" & "non-kiddy" games that dont come in with the GC?
-
Mario Kart DS and Super Smash Bros(revolution) both wifi ^.^
-
LOL, GameCube? I remember those' <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok that almost p***ed me off right there, people always pick on nintendo just because they dont like games that are for E=EVERYONE not KIDDY.
-
I Pick Gamecube, why? i have one and the graphics are incredible insane! Gamecube has the best graphics out of all 3 systems, just check out RE4(resident evil 4). also the graphics quality depends on the games you play. not because the system has crap graphics like most say. mario games dont really graphically improve because it doesnt need to. its perfect as it is.
-
yea imagine the psp and ps3 look like crap. well thats my opinion anyways. look at the DS, a TOUCH SCREEN! no gaming handheld was able to do that. Nintendo is about changing the game. so Revolution Gets my vote. and just because you dont like "kiddy" games which are NOT "kiddy" games because they are rated E for EVERYONE! not just KIDS! which means people of ALL AGES can play the game not like violence games that are rated M which younger audiences can play. Besides, Mario is a classic, so is DK, Zelda, Link, etc. Gamers dont need those cd/mp3 player add-ons cause it has NOTHING to do with GAMING. But Nintendo wont even think about GIVING UP. They have been in business for 20 years and is the only company making money out of selling consoles, handhelds, 1st party games while Sony and Microsoft loose money. But who knows which one is better, we will just have to wait until all 3 systems are released into the public and not just jump to conclusions like alot of people, which are annoying me

is this Antec TruePower 2.0 550W 24/20pin Power Supply the same as the one from NewEgg because i looked on pricewatch for this and the one from the first link is cheaper. EDIT: besides the fact that the fan holes are different EDIT2: what the... the price changed X_X. i guess newegg lowered the price EDIT3: uhh something is wrong with the link.
-
umm why should i be concerned about the ATX mobo and ATX case? is the PSU too big for an ATX case?
-
umm i just noticed on the Enermax PSU i just posted, does it support AMD too cause on the title of it, it says ENERMAX 535W INTEL ATX 12V VER. 2.0 PSU, SLI, DUAL FAN, SATA, 24PIN POWER SUPPLY!
-
So This Antec and Enermax are good too? they are also cheap =D
-
You'd be suprised on how poorly my specs are Biostar M7VIG (Pro) Motherboard AMD Athlon XP, 1.8 GHz 2200+ 256 mb RAM (not sure what brand)(i want to get another stick of memory, probably a 512 mb one) Intergrated S3 Prosavage DDR Video Card(going to upgrade it sooner or later) This Crap 400W PSU 2 Western Digital 40gb Hard Drives 1 cd-rom by LG and i am willing to do a major upgrade =)
