so that type of motherboard only accepts SATA types of CD/DVD drives?

Can someone tell me whats the difference? im not really good at these things, thats why i need help, when i look up a motherboard This One For Example, where does it say that it supports IDE or SATA? or does it mean something else? im kinda confused about this since its my first attempt to make my own computer.

uhh i dont know how to update my video drivers... i got a cd to install all my drives when i first bought the comp and thats about it and i installed everything that was on that cd.

sometimes when i click something, such as "start" "game start icon" i get the bule screen of death, its really annoying (this doesnt happen often but it does occasionally and when it happens when i launch the game i want to play, i have to reinstall it because if i restart my comp and click it again the blue screen of death comes up), so is there a way to prevent it from executing or to get rid of it for good?

@.@ meh.. owell, i guess it sucks since i got it for 10 bucks because it was on sale. thanks for the help though. ill just wait a few more days before returning it to see if there could be any solutions left.

i hooked it up to a laptop and it said, could not find connection during the installation from the cd X_X.

the ips are correct and that plug it out and replug it in i did that too but i cant seem to connect, i also checked the username and pass to connect. im supposed to connect to the internet with the same one as i use with out the router right?

i got this router, the brand is motorola 802.11g Wireless broadband router, i hooked up everything right, and i installed it with a cd, my question is, how do i connect to the internet with it? it wont let me use my current one that i use without the router. can anyone help?

nod32 cant even detect the folder its in, the folder is freakin hidden and wont let me or the virus scanner access it.

i got a virus called W32.SillyP2P, well thats what norton says, i cant remove it and the site didnt help me. NOD32 detected it as Win32/VB.CA worm. i searched for 2 hours and found nothing, can someone help? EDIT: here are some pics

no i dont have a previous install disk, how come u want it to be locked? Unattended XP is almost the same thing but not just burning it right off the bat.

is there a way to burn the cd the right way instead of the wrong way if there is, cause i burned a windows xp cd i borrowed and i burned it and when i reformatted my computer it said fatal error in the middle of it, the 2nd try it worked but i got viruses and my comp is really laggy and the activate windows thing goes on(really its like random errors, it could be anything from the 2nd try i tried to burn it), so can someone help me? btw im burning windows xp home.

ok that doesnt happen anymore, but now i have a lag problem!! everything is so slow. and i get alot of cannot something page thingy alot!!

gah my computer wouldnt let me connect thru the internet when i restarted it, so then i had to reformat AGAIN. plus that "activate windows" thingy is hella annoying the crap out of me. whats another good firewall program cause i dont really like to use firewalls cause they screw up the games i like to play.

how do i disable it from happening ever again?

hi i have a problem with my xp, whenever i connect to the internet like 30 min later the thing shows up to restart my computer and counts down from 1 min. then i cant do anything, i just did a fresh reinstall of my windows xp and it happened, i scanned my computer and no msblaster virus or anything and i havent even downloaded anything. so it acts like an msblaster but i dont have the virus. can someone help me?

Gah ms antispyware didnt work, by the way im using sp1, do any of you think a repair off the XP cd would work?

I Cant Find M& Antispyware on google or yahoo can someone give me a link? also, like i said what if i reinstall windows and it doesnt fix the problem because my last computer had a problem where it took so long to load up the computer and the part where it says "Windows XP Pro" and had that loading bar and when i reinstalled it, it didnt fix the problem.
