  1. What do you mean? Does Nlite use any hacking method to integrate SATA drivers? Or it's all the same as if I were to do an unattended install? Can someone please answer my questions above?
  2. Did you hack the WLM installer to remove those extras? Or there is some sort of script that tells the installer only to install WLM w/o the extras?
  3. So is the version of Skype in your first post the latest version of Skype Business?
  4. I'm not quire sure what you mean. Where do I enter "setup.exe /admin" in Office 2007? I don't have the physical media for Office 2007 as Microsoft provided a link to download the program for me. Can I do this even w/o the Office 2007 CD? How do I SFX the whole office folder? Where is the "updates" folder? Thank you!
  5. What does this service do? ; Indexing Service [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CiSvc] "Start"=dword:00000004 and this? ; Windows Audio Service [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AudioSrv] "Start"=dword:00000002 and this? ; Windows Time Service [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time] "Start"=dword:00000004 Does this service disable all removeable storage support like USB flash drives? ; Removable Storage Service [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtmsSvc] "Start"=dword:00000004
  6. It's the Microsoft UAA update. Does it go into the HF folder?
  7. So after I install this then my audio driver should allow me to get sound right?
  8. heh, are you sure you want to do that!? I believe even after you deleted it, the system re-creates this directory eventually - pointless! If I delete it manually, the folders never return.
  9. haha, sgt, you have such bad luck! You have quite a number of things that don't work for you only but work for others. Try this: 1) run GPEDIT.MSC 2) Browse to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Display 3) Set "Screen Saver" to "Disabled" 4) Exit GPEDIT.MSC Your screensaver should now be greyed out, therefore disabled. If LGPO (Local Group Policy Objects) don't work for you either, then IT REALLY IS YOUR PROBLEM! Switch to Mac.... Believe me this is driving me nuts. Do you have a registry setting for that?
  10. Does this software hack Windows to integrate the SATA drivers like Nlite? Or it's all done standard compliant? Also will this work for Intel SATA drivers?
  11. Thanks for the help guys! I have one final set of questions here. How do I remove the sample music and sample pictures folders in the My Music and My Pictures folder with cleanup.cmd? Thanks!
  12. Is it possible to stop HFSLIP from creating an iso? Instead after it finish slipstreaming everything, it will just leave the files in a folder?
  13. Is HFSLIP going to eventually add SATA driver integration support? I would love if this feature is added and I will test it for you guys! Oleg II's method doesn't work, but I think he may be on the right track.
  14. Here is an update on my progress. I am now convinced that this method of integrating SATA drivers doesn't work at all. I just Nlite the drivers yesterday and Windows XP Professional SP2 manage to install on my laptop. I think Oleg II is close in coming up with a solution. Ideally I would love if HFSLIP can address this problem since I don't want to use multiple programs to do this job.
  15. What do you mean? Does Nlite use any hacking method to integrate SATA drivers? Or it's all the same as if I were to do an unattended install?
  16. It's been almost a year since I posted in this thread. This tweak doesn't work for me. Does anyone here know why?
  17. Does anyone here know which driver inside the Driverpack sound series is for the Sigmatel 9220 audio chip?
  18. I know the default Vista DVD comes with a driver for the Intel GMA 950 integrated videocard. I'm just wondering if I integrate the newer version, would it automatically delete the old version of the driver? I'm assuming this is how vlite works if I were to do that for new drivers? Replace the old ones with new ones?
  19. I'm not sure if I am phrasing this properly, but does Nlite make a unattended install similar to what I could do if I were to do it manually by following the MSFN guide? The reason why I ask this is in the past when I used Nlite to make my unattended installs, I couldn't install Activesync. As soon as I make an unattended install manually by following the MSFN guide, I'm able to install it. This lead me to think that Nlite modifies certain file and make the install no longer standard compliant. So basically, can I make a install with Nlite the same as I would by following the MSFN guide? Thanks!
  20. I'm assuming that no one has manage to make a unattended install of Vista?
