An original Adobe release can upgrade my release whereas my release is prohibited from upgrading an Adobe release. A clean install is required. BOTTOM LINE - I DID NOT CREATE THESE RELEASES FOR DESKTOP INSTALLATIONS They were created specifically for msfn users who are re-authoring windows installation media. shark

The supplied transforms file CANNOT be directly applied using orca. The editting I do to create the lite versions CANNOT be done with orca. You need to use InstallShield. (free trial versions are available for testing purposes) One other thing needs to be mentioned. After creating the AIP 2 plugin files need to be re-added to the AIP using Installshield. search.api and search5.api will be missing from the AIP files. Using Installshield open the AIP msi and delete these 2 files from the files section. To assist you in learning how I create these lite versions I am willing to provide a transforms file (turkish.mst) for you to use for comparrison to the original msi and note the changes made. If you have some basic MSI editting skills already, this should make it undstandable. Also pay attention to changes I make in the registry, they are important to avoid some errors messages. basic proceedure; step 1 - edit the MSI step 2 - create an AIP from the editted MSI (administrative install point) step 3 - repackage resulting files into a 7zip installer And as a last note, I use dialup, pls bear with me, this will take some time but I will get this done a.s.a.p. shark

With this in mind, my installers do not deal with existing system scenario's such as upgrades etc. To directly answer the PM query; FOR DESKTOP INSTALLATIONS PLEASE USE THE MANUFACTURERS INSTALLER If you're using this installer on an in use desktop system be sure you have uninstalled previous versions and deleted/removed np32dsw.dll from the mozilla browsers' \plugins folder.

Did i not explain this well enough? It doesnt matter if you install the mozilla browser before or after using my shockwave installer, the plugins will be available to the browser without being installed separately. I only tested this with Firefox. If Opera needs it installed to its plugin dir, let me know and I will make a switchless installer available for opera's plugin.shark
