sorry but I am not a winamp user. I create this installer for those that want it. A language addon is provided but I have no clue how to set a certain language as default. It may be as simple as replacing the winamp.ini file within the installer... shark

At this Site I maintain a switchless install addon of the codec pack. No switches are required on this distributed EXE unless you are installing on a PC that has a language other than English as default. For other than English unattended installations, read the INI file in the distributed archive. shark

In my signature are 2 repository URL's. I've only uploaded the corrected files to the MAIN repository. The MIRROR does not have the updated files yet. To those that don't already know, I use dialup, connect @ 2.6kps, and it is extremely slow... for instance, a 1MB file is a 15min file transfer experience...

it seems I screwed up the latest release. I accidently monitored an upgrade install when creating the current release so I've taken it offline until I am able to upload a new file. new files uploaded to the MAIN repository only. it is also SVCPACK compatible now. yes that will work just fine. shark

I knew I had posted this previously in this thread and without looking to check, I also remember placing this path at the top of the tutorial... The MSI is placed here by Microsofts distributed EXE... "%allusersprofile%\Application Data\WindowsLiveInstaller\Product" shark

The extreme editions aren't for everyone. They are missing Microsoft Runtime libraries and updater plugins. For most people these runtime libraries are installed by many other applications so removing them from this installer isnt noticed. Without these libraries, the program would fail to run. I'll consider your request. Please note that I use dialup to access the internet. It may be some time before I post your requested edition (or anything for that matter). I intend to rewrite the entire collection of files (languages) because I forgot to remove some shortcuts from the startup folder on the startmenu. pending . . . shark

The extreme version is not fully standalone although the missing files (microsoft runtime libraries removed to reduce size)are installed by many other programs and have been removed from this installation. The only reason the files are in a 7z archive is that the distribution site does not allow executable files.To install these files unattendedly, simply cause the exe to be executed, no switch required. shark

THere is no need to email me a question which is essentially identical to this post. I didn't write that AutoIt script. Without searching the forums, memory tells me 'boardbabe' had made a Nero script. Hopefully someone familiar with AutoIt will assist you here. just giving it back to MSFN (and its users). When i 1st stumbled onto this site I didn't know an exe from a zip file. MSFN rules! (Where People Go To Know). (and maintains my interest daily) shark
