  7. yes, you can use the /qn switch on my installer ummmm, no, that's your installer. Mine works from svcpack, yours will fail uninstallation if used from svcpack. Although, if you note that it must be installed after 1st boot (runounceex), it will uninstall properly. ummmm, no, mine isnt silent, it's switchless, yours is yours, and it isnt the same as mine. It may contain the same files as mine, but it doesnt have the same functionality.shark

  12. This will perform a default installation of Windows Media Player 11.0.5358.4827 via SVCPACK. Be sure to use the RVM Integrator to integrate this into your source media. It has been tested with a virgin installation of SP2 and also on a fully updated SP2 source using the RVMUpdatePack 2.0.6 You may also choose to remove the EXEcutable from the downloaded CAB file and install it at any other time eg. T-9, runounceex or even post installation by simply double clicking the file. This installation contains NO MODIFIED FILES and NO REG TWEAKS Get it here (Rapidshare) Mirror - provided by Zxian Thank you. shark
  13. I've tested the switch /Q on the originally downloaded file from microsoft with a virgin XP SP2 through svcpack and it installed just fine. Of course, i did need to deal with system restore. My final solution for an svcpack method was to extract the files from the microsoft download and repack them into a 7z switchless installer using this command in config.txt ... RunProgram="setup_wm.exe /Q:A /R:N /DisallowSystemRestore" The size of the file i downloaded was 22.9meg, after repacking to a 7z installer its 23.1meg - I wont be providing a download of this because i'm using dialup to access the net. shark
  14. There have been major changes since i last made an installer for this requiring me to update the entire package. Also included is a link to my Ink Installer which enables the Handwriting TAB. Updated to 8.0.0689 on May 6th, 2006shark

Gei it Here NOTE: i will be updated it to version 1.5.0.3 soon. You'll find the new release under the same URL i posted above. shark

  20. A common cause of this is CDroms and DVD's. They take a long time to initialize and read the directories. Try removing any optical media and see if that solves the problem. shark
