  1. yes - its on my repository, please let me know if it worked. i can't test it on an english system. It is the original downloadable installer wrapped in an AutoIT executable. I cant control its function, on 1st boot after installing this, windows detects a new IO bus and wants you to do a few clicks. i suggest you ask Bâshrat the Sneaky to look into this driver. Possibly he can come up with a solution to install it natively along with windows instead of using an installer. Thanks man, i enjoy sharing my work shark
  2. Shockwave player updated to 10.1.4.20 This version has AutoUpdate enabled by default and i havent found a way to turn this off other than visiting this page at ADOBE. To turn it off, right click on the shockwave video and choose 'properties'. I know there are several registry settings for autoupdate but they dont seem to affect the setting i suggested above. shark
  3. see post 13 in this thread, then visit my repository. shark
  4. Just some info for newbies visiting the forums. I never look into threads like this one with a topic title such as 'Hello' This is about the most useless topic information i have ever seen here. If you're seeking assistance, please make your topic relevant. I came into this thread simply to make this post. shark
  5. lol .. at least its obvious i test this stuff before i release it new MD5 with new upload - old playlist entries removed shark
  6. strange, i just downloaded it and it has the correct MD5. If your MD5 matches the MD5 posted on my repository, you have the new file. another way to check is the contained files. If alac.w5s exists in the system folder within the archive, you have the new upload. shark
  7. UPDATED - Check the MD5 24 hours after releasing winamp 5.3 the developers released updates. I included them. Updates include these 2 posts by the moderators @ the winamp forums after the 5.3 release and also this ADDON package posted by the moderators @ winamp forums POSTED flac codecs are now included. shark
  8. You can have it the way you like by repackaging it. Set it up exactly as you like it, then copy the winamp.ini file from your personal setup to the installer. for the winamp library, copy gen_ml.ini from the plugins directory. repackage it, and it should be as you left it. shark
  9. I cant reproduce the error, are you using an administrators account? You can stop it from stealing the associations by repackaging it. currently, it is a 7Z selfextract EXE using this command: RunProgram="msistub.exe iTunes.msi /qb" To turn off file associations you'll have to repackage it using this command: RunProgram="msistub.exe iTunes.msi /qb REGSRCH_MEDIA_DEFAULTS=0" shark
  10. This is a perfect example of why I hate advertised shortcuts The idea behind them is fine, but some software publishers power and control issues. They wan't their shortcuts on your Start Menu only as they define them. I hate advertised shortcuts too.. they were that way in 7.01 also.. but in this version i made, I changed them , they arent advertised anymore, illiminating this problem. I also stopped the desktop and quicklaunch shortcuts from being created shark
  11. Thanks for the information ... There is a new version on my repository. shark
  12. 5.3 FINAL is now available in 2 versions. With or without the Winamp Library. shark
  13. The above pretty well describes the codec pack i offer in the stickies section. shark
  14. I know it installs from the desktop with a rightclick on the INF and choosing install. For unattended installation, get the AC3ACm.acm file into system32 using whatever method is easiest for you and apply this regfile either using cmdlines.txt or svcpack.inf Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaResources\msacm\msacm.ac3acm] "Description"="AC-3 ACM Codec" "Driver"="AC3ACM.acm" "FriendlyName"="AC-3 ACM Codec" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\drivers.desc] "AC3ACM.acm"="AC-3 ACM Codec" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32] "msacm.ac3acm"="AC3ACM.acm" Dont forget, reg files need to end in a blank line. shark
  15. Updated to 1.5.0.9 shark
  16. I have no intention to PM you to keep it updated. You placed it there yourself, you should keep it up to date yourself. Possibly removing the link altogether is the answer , this way updating wont be a problem. @mgadallah, i'm sorry if you perceive this as rude, but all I'm saying is it was your rational choice to place the link there and it is your responsibility to keep it up to date. I can't PM all of MSFN just because i changed hosts shark
  17. You're going to love this response, i don't recommend anything. I'm not even a 'mozilla' user. I have never tried Opera. My total experience with firefox involves creating this installer, no more.@ mgadallah - more off topic info , you have my repository in your signature, but it has a new home. You will need to update the address to http://shark.blackteabag.ch or the mirror address http://www.sharksfiles.com shark
  18. My distrubuted installer is english only. You can extract the files from my installer using winrar to get the plugin files. The localized installation file can be installed silently. "Firefox Setup 1.5.0.7.exe" -ms Then place the plugins from my package into a self extracting archive to extract to your firefox installation directory. shark
  19. Updated the BETA to v8.1.068 shark
  20. no, but i can make you one ... get it from my repository shark
  21. I'm glad to hear it works since i wasnt able to test it myself. shark
  22. Still can't find a working link to an installation of the shockwave player without Google, Yahoo, Autoupdate, etc. If there isn't a installer I will try to make an MSI by myself... Please let me know. URL updated, see 1st post or use the link in my signature. shark
  23. I downloaded the latest version 7.5.11 from nero and all i can say is OMG. The downloaded English file was 189MB. In the past, i would make my own package of this resulting in a 40MB installer. This latest version, best i could do was 100MB installer. Time to look at alternatives and say goodbye to nero. EDIT: well after looking around a bit i was able to get my personal installer down to 41MB Most of the latest bloat was in nero vision. The 3D animations were huge. I also normally include full versions of the help files, replacing them with the distributed help files also help to reduce the size dramatically. shark
  24. because you havent rebooted yet.shark
