  3. Actually i did not upx my installer.exe if i did it would only be 80kb thanks for reminding me. i will update it now
  4. thanks keytotime for explaining that to me. i use a quick batch file converter to make my "Installer.exe" remember u told me i dont hv to use it anymore. My Installer.exe is much smaller than StartX.exe and i can put multiple commands in it. Just like evilvoice's method. good job man... great to hv a new guide to help everyone make their own 7zip applications. Hopefully we will be seeing a rise in pre 7zip applications in the future.
  5. excellent! why do u need this? "msiexec /i program.msi /qb-!\"" what is the purpose of the msiexec? i hv several msi installers and i never use this and it still works.

  7. now that is an interesting question. i know that if i integrate manually using the /integrate command i dont see it in add remove programs which means i think if u follow the guide at msfn.org u will see the hotfixes in add remove but why would u?

  12. i hv bad news for u boy. kb890047 will over write your longhorn shell. kb890047 contains a updated shell32.dll 3 of them. so better luck next time
  13. question borq why dont u run it from runonceEX.cmd? use RunonceEX.cmd to call wpi.exe i use a modified version of wpi.cmd in wpi. u hv a cleanup.cmd in your 999 order.

  21. gun tried it and it doesn't work for me. sorry... instead i decide to use Iconpacker from Stardock. and guess what it is even nicer than the one i made. go figure.
