  1. Hello Windows XP gaming community. I have what i believe are good news for you, if you are into emulation. I'm a developer and i've recently modified the latest version of the popular PCSX2 PlayStation 2 emulator to make it run again under the Windows XP operating system, since they removed that compatibility by 2016. The development to my modified version of PCSX2 started in May 2020, just when the latest stable official release was made public (v1.6.0), confirming it wasn't indeed compatible with XP. I wanted to do something about it, so i started peeking the code and considering the options i had. Well, after months of testing and patience, i got the latest v1.6.0 stable release from May 2020 running perfectly fine under XP. This project is called "PCSX2 XP" and is been made available from my website: http://neonfloppy.sytes.net/projects/pcsx2-xp/ and there is also a github repository: https://github.com/blueclouds8666/pcsx2_XP You may also join to my discord server, where you can find about my other projects and chat with other xp fans: https://discord.gg/KXKXcs4 I will be answering any questions you have regarding my project down below. I hope you all find this useful. Thanks for your attention.

  3. Only if you can reproduce the issue using Interlink on your main Windows 7 system. They will blow a fuse if they realize you are using roytam1’s version on XP or Vista!

  4. I updated Windows Server 2008 R2 with all updates two or three weeks ago. This was from SP1 base, mind you. This was at work on a production domain controller. I had to use the same SHA-2 procedure for Windows 7 and then I was able to download ten years of updates. Beware that the critical Zerologon patch for R2 is an ESU update, so you'll want to get that one as well, or your entire network is toast.

  5. @Dave-H @crashnburn4u @win32 Well, well, today's the big day! It's been ten awesome years of Office twenty-ten, and EOS is today, but not the EOL! Office 2010 is on its way to a new immortality! Time to get all those updates, soon! Will be doing that shortly, hopefully, but not today - bit backlogged with other things at the moment...

  6. They did introduce a desktop client, but it does work even without your kernel.

  7. You can also just change ntdll.dll to ntext.dll which has an implementation of RtlQueryPerformanceCounter. The next change to kernel32 should eliminate the need to change SubSystem versions in executables.

  8. thanks for the kind reply. keeping track of posted issues on both boards helps me learn. need the practice as i'm not the youngest anymore. nobody , in my opinion . using New Moon should be asking for support on the PM board or join in a discussion. also have to keep in mind that NM28XP is based on the unstable PM version and "solutions" may not yet work in the official PM release. however , as you stated , posting a tested (new profile) simple fix without browser details helps both. and most important all of it's users. example : try this page. https://music.apple.com/il/album/sentinel/1528162085 you will get : an error observed direct temp solution was not given as it supposedly poses a security and privacy risk. dom.enable_performance_observer : bolean : set to true. now no error and the music plays. if apple corrects this then the pref should be reset to default. until such time the site is functional.
