FileZilla entry is outdated. Support for Vista was dropped with version 3.25.2-rc1, released on 23rd April 2017. Can't say whether it still works or not since I don't have Vista installed anywhere ATM. Here's the changelog.

The only (Activation) Product Keys I know that can "expire" are Volume License. Either because the Partner let their account lapse or the keys were blacklisted because they were leaked online and new keys were issued to the original party. If you can still boot into the OS proper, run MGADiag and post the results into here. Perhaps there is another reason why the OS won't activate.

I still think there should be an option for XP and Vista users to play their Steam library without Steam running, within reason. Especially if we're talking about single player games. Losing Steam's community functions/achievements isn't as big a deal for me as losing access to the games for which I paid. Makes me wish I had bought them on Good Old Games instead; so far I've not encountered a game there which is tied to a GoG DRM client. You can download the installers for the games directly.

xper fixed the Internal Server Error! All attachments may be downloaded once again! Yay!

Because of the server crash, nearly four months of my posts were lost. I solved the Optical Drive problem with my AHCI Driver for Windows 9x and it is now generally available. I have also written an AHCI CD/DVD Driver for DOS. The AHCI.SYS Driver from HP only works on some Intel Systems.

Server crashed badly. They couldn't retrieve data from second (backup) HDD'a. We lost data for last 3 months. Luckily i had local backup from Februar. I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
