  1. Thanks AstroSkipper ... got the link and it installed with no problem. I don't why I had problems earlier ... just kept saying it was 'corrupt'. All is well again. ...

  2. uBO can be installed in Mypal 74.1.1 and is working there. Here is a screenshot showing that uBO 1.62 is installed: I was also able to install the latest version 1.65. And TBH, there are no other adblocker extensions comparable with uBO.

  3. For my freshly installed XP x86 SP2 - All I had to do in order to get 360Chrome to finally load ht-tpS sites was to LAUNCH SP2'S NATIVE IE6, let the "internet" icon display in the lower right corner, EXIT NATIVE IE6, then 360Chrome started working. Albeit with an "insecure padlock" - but I ignore those on XP!

  4. Just for clarification. Editing the bootstrap.js in the way I described above makes the Custom Buttons extension working again. All my self-created custom buttons and the button editor are working as it should be. Only the list of all installed custom buttons inside the Add-ons Manager is broken as already in Mypal 74.1.0.

  5. Yes, it is about Bug 1609556 - Migrate toolbar-context-menu to Fluent (Firefox 78+) comment this one below inside the addon if (!FOX85 && appVersion >= 78 && url == "chrome://custombuttons/content/overlay.xul") Shall consider to put the version 78 then Thanks for replying! And yes, editing the bootstrap.js file inside the Custom Buttons extension causes my custom buttons to reappear, the editor to work again and the options menu to be available again. I did the following: In line 66: - this.appVersion = parseInt(Services.appinfo.platformVersion); + this.appVersion = 78; Not working, being completely empty and not showing its icon is the list of all custom buttons in the Add-ons Manager: Unfortunately, totally broken. Maybe, you have an idea to fix this. Mypal 68.14.8b was the last version where the list worked correctly.

  7. The Custom Buttons extension has been working basically in Mypal 74.1.0, only the list of all installed custom buttons in the Add-ons Manager has been empty and the Options menu in the Add-ons Manager was not shown. Unfortunately, the Custom Buttons extension now stops working completely in Mypal 74.1.1. No custom buttons appear, and the button editor is broken.

  8. PSU model? GPU model you want to try there, too. Mobo socket?

  9. And 12TB and up are 4TB, it seems. I even remember cutting those pins to remove all artificial blocks. Don't do it, if you're not sure! The second chip is usually the culprit. (not always). https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/c46men/problem_with_wd_my_book_enclosure_snipping_pins_7/

  10. Which makes me think it's simply too many outsourced platters with bad sectors. Why I think so? Hard disks contain equal sized platters, example, 6TB and 8TB have 3x2TB and 4x2TB. Old 3TB models (from 15 years ago) had 2x1.5TB or even 1x1.5 (as one disk, they had such disks. WD green, for example), so what platters they use in 5TB, if we are to consider your theory, jaclaz, I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just curious. What I want to say, perhaps the limit is also in the controller, to make sure no one hacks the original HDD firmware to be able to use the full 6TB (real size).

  11. 5TB HDD is itself strange, looks like it's an outsorted 6TB, with a damaged platter, reduced to 5TB with its firmware. It's nothing new, it had been done before.

  12. Thank you very much for the link! I don't have that exact card, but the driver also works with other Xonar series cards, just need to replace the device ID, a very good driver, indeed!

  13. You don't need to extract it! Just place it there. Clear instructions are here.
