  1. I have been "brain"storming with Copilot (something I'd rather like to avoid 😡) and "it" came with this: Testing that script gave me: Connecting to www.google.com:443 Socket connection error: [Errno 0] Error Copilot's answer:

  2. We discovered recently that 74 version has bug in the csp, it breaks several sites that worked before. You may disable it: security.csp.enable;false csp designed to forbid interference on a site. Аdvanced users do interference with scripts, however in the newer firefoxes (102 already) the setting has been removed, I wont do this but wonder how users overcome this in the newer firefoxes.

  3. Well, I really don't know, but presumably win32ss does! Surely the current ESR version has to be patched until it's superseded, if it's vulnerable, or there's no point in having it. That is 132 as far as I'm aware.

  5. Had a good laugh at the guy that claims to be from Southern Europe, writes Yandex is known for aggressive fingerprinting, yet tries to access it with such a zeal. Here's that extensive guinea pig test for either of you. Thank you and kudos to the tester. "Disabling all privacy-related extensions, including uBO" just to try to get to the favourite Yandex - wow! https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/910#issuecomment-2362536383

  6. It's your loss, actually! Now it's un-yandexed, which is a huge, enormous plus for us, who actually reside in GB and Europe. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/910 Waiting for the full un-googled version.

  7. And let me ask, what features SP2 and SP3 brought? Right, except the new "security enhancements", they only removed them. Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3 also removed features from Windows XP, including support for TCP half-open connections[52] and the address bar on the taskbar.[53] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_XP

  8. Yes. Lower the user agent in about:config via the general.useragent.override.google.com or general.useragent.override.google.xxx pref where xxx is your country-specific TLD! If it doesn't exist, create this pref as a string one. This is a site-specific user agent. Choosing a mobile user agent for Google is also possible and makes the Google searches even faster.

  10. Your behaviour here is highly questionable and certainly does not inspire confidence. My decisions and actions are exclusively determined by my knowledge and experience. I control and adjust all system and programme services manually as I know what I do and what I have to do. There is no need for such a crappy batch file . This is what I would do with that file: And your lack of objectivity, your provocations and your insinuations show me clearly that you actually have nothing meaningful to say. From now on, I'll try to do this: . Just to not waste my time with such nonsense.

  11. It can be easily checked whether ports are open and have to be closed or not. If a Windows system is well configured and protected properly by the hardware and software firewalls, there is no need to use such tools you recommended. And certainly not tools that were developed for older operating systems than Windows 7.. As I already stated crystal clearly, I do not simply trust but I deeply check . Both my hardware and software firewalls do a good job, and there is no need for such old tools. And there is definitely no need to run an undocumented batch file of dubious origin to disable various services..
