  1. If you live in one of those dreaded Soviet "apartment" barracks, then make a dedicated power line which feeds only the PC, the same for your dishwasher, etc.

  2. For me, it was the main, big capacitor Dell used on the board, it had a huge leak. The name was "Elite", judging by the name, it's something very cheap to cut the costs. Dell is known for that. So I replaced with another cap, took from my old Philips TV, it worked like a charm. * worked even despite being a bit of lower voltage.

  4. Wrong, I have a huge collection of Vinyl. Again confused me with someone. Indeed, so why be rude and not appreciative?

  5. I indeed come from our Western culture, but you confuse me with someone else, my PC is 15 years old, and the card is over 10. This comment of yours is not particulary friendly, especially of we consider two facts. 1 - I was right about the cheap, old, worn out Soviet wiring. I found you the root cause for free. 2 - I gave you a marvellous advice to make a dedicated power line which feeds only the PC, also for free. All of that being from the culture you obviously don't appreciate much.

  6. I think you meant NTLite. Yes, I agree 100% with you. I had the most terrible experiences with NTlite, including my further damaged eyes with pitiful UI and fonts. If he's a gamer, no. It's too old. 2018 is the bare minimum.

  7. Well I was able to figure it out For some reason it didn't want to start even on Supremium-Electron v28, but after finding the latest working version and replacing resources with newest version, it worked 1. Install Version 10.24.26 from here: https://dl.pstmn.io/download/version/10.24.26/win64 2. Delete resource folder in: %LocalAppdata%\Postman\app-10.24.26 3. Download latest version (in time of writing thats 11.18.0): https://dl.pstmn.io/download/version/11.18.0/win64 4. Extraxt its resources (open with something like 7zip Postman-11.18.0-full.nupkg and go to lib\net45 and copy resources folder back to %LocalAppdata%\Postman\app-10.24.26 PS: You will need to add 127.0.0.1 dl.pstmn.io to hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) to block Postman from auto updating itself and ruining your hard work

  8. Nevertheless,10 amps is too low, I can only assume it could be one of those barracks the Soviets left behind throughout the whole Eastern Europe. I saw quite a few of them, we took cover in those while on a mission. What can I say, the wiring there is terrible, no wonder, It's not even copper. It's a very cheap aluminium. So yeah, 6.3 Amps or 10 is the best they could probably handle, though I doubt about 10.

  10. Google lens translates it as you need to pay them a fee of 400 Rupees each month for the "better video quality". Now, would you be severely punished (as many others already have) for saying that software is Russian, I wonder?! The local supervisor explicitly forbids to talk about Russia on this forum, which is of course strange, very strange,. I read it in several topics already, including the Yandex phone topic.

  11. How do you expect us to help you if you cannot even tell us the EXACT version we are to compare with ??? The answer is very simple. You don't have to help those types. It's more of a waste of time. And I also don't believe that old browser versions from 2022 work better with YouTube today than the current ones. YouTube has permanently changed for the worse. Even an old cucumber doesn't really help.

  12. <sarcasm font>Is this your swan song?</sarcasm font> I love the creativity of some people here. BTW, your investigations of the VORAPIS V3 interface are strange. On my old and very weak Windows XP computer, the original YouTube interface is a real disaster. It takes ages to load and only with tons of scripts, filters and extensions, it can be accessed but when scrolling the page a bit, the loading of unwanted crap starts again with a 100% CPU usage. In contrast, the VORAPIS V3 interface is loaded in less than a minute, and the usage of CPU and RAM is much, much less as it is with the original interface, even when scrolling the page a bit. So, no swan song but stating facts.

  13. I avoid the original YouTube interface as it has become useless for me the last years. I use instead the VORAPIS V3 script which is really great. I therefore no longer notice whether the original interface has become even worse.

  15. I don't get an error in gkmedias.dll when calling up the qwant.com website in the most recent release of New Moon 28 from today.

  16. FYI, the Firefox command line option -purgecaches does not work with New Moon 28. When using it for starting this browser, the Browser Console reports that -purgecaches is an unrecognized command line flag.
