  2. Once we'll get enough signatures (if we'll get enough signatures), we will bring it to the attention of Mozilla.

  3. Matt A. Tobin spewing, once more, poison against Vista users and against the New Moon fork: #817#issuecomment-433252852 The fact is I got prior clearance from Moonchild himself to report bugs (found in New Moon 28 on Vista) in the GitHub issue tracker, if: 1. The bug has been also reported in the Palemoon forum by users of the official PM builds 2. I could replicate the bug I found by using an official build on Win7+ So that is why I got involved in #817#issuecomment-427697783 Honestly, I find all that hostility from Tobin to be totally unwarranted... Mind you, I refuse to even dignify his response by trying to argue with him; we all know by now he's a nut case... I will accept his code contributions to PM but am not prepared, nor willing, to accept his attitude (rant over...)

  5. That's why I said "don't mention any forks' name in their territory". Just doing a regular bug report using official builds and environments will be good for both sides.

  7. First install the updates from this topic, to make Windows Update search for all of the updates you need faster: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-update/why-has-vista-stopped-automatic-updates/42c98c78-157b-44b7-858a-3ba92933cb90 Then run WU and install all it offers (no telemetry is contained in any update, so it's all good). Then download my repository and use the script I included at the root of it to install updates (if I recall correctly, you have to open it and change the directory it uses to install all of the updates in a folder). After all that you should have an up to date Vista install with no vulnerabilities whatsoever (in practice, anyway)

  8. Another month, another batch of patches (try saying that three times in a row!) Added Monthly Rollup, KB4463097 (located on the root directory of the repository) Added Security Only Update, KB4463104 (located in the folder "/Security Only (Post August 2018)") Replaced Internet Explorer Cumulative Update KB4462949 (located in the folder "/Security Only (Post August 2018)") Replaced .NET Framework Security and Quality with: -KB4457007 for .NET 2.0 SP2 (located in "/NET 2.0 SP2/Security and Quality Rollup") -KB4457019 for .NET 4.5.2 (located in "/NET 4.5.2/Security and Quality Rollup") -KB4457016 for .NET 4.6-4.6.1 (located in "/NET 4.6-4.6.1/Security and Quality Rollup") I've decided to not include the Preview of Monthly Rollups MS releases in the middle of each month, mostly due to stability concerns (usually MS uses those releases to test the waters by releasing telemetry and/or new bugfixes). That will be all https://mega.nz/#F!txxRyLzC!1vBMGzMHiL864f3bl1Rj1w

  9. @someguy25 It is a well-known problem with KB4074852, KB4134651 and KB4134651-v2 updates. You have to hide those updates or ask @heinoganda for patched (working) KB4134651-v2 update via PM.

  10. Java has been updated today October 16, 2018 to Version 8 Update 191. First, download the last known working XP installer (http://sdfox7.com/xp/sp3/EOL/jre-8u152-windows-i586.exe), then download the latest updated tar.gz file here https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html or my FTP http://sdfox7.com/xp/sp3/EOL/java/. Installer packages after Version 8 Update 152 do NOT work correctly on XP, so to manually update to the current version follow the instructions here: Or here:
