  1. I've had this problem a lot with Zippyshare, junk advertising pages appearing when you click the download link. If you just go back and try again, eventually you will get the correct page, although it can take a few tries.

  2. Update for root certificates: New: CN = ISRG Root X1 O = Internet Security Research Group C = US Those using heinoganda's Cert_Updater.exe should run it ASAP. Others needing a redistributable rootsupd.exe should follow his instructions for creating their own, or PM at 5eraph for an updated EXE file.

  3. No problem. Are you on New Moon 28 yet? IIRC it was forked from FF 52 so you should be able to load uBlock Origin as an add-in. That should help with zippyshare and their ads.

  4. Zippyshare.com is renowned for hosting deceptive ads that look like the actual download link, and pop-ups that try to scare you into downloading their spyware. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of good alternative file sharing sites around.

  5. If you try to use a web browser where an ad blocker (μBlock) is installed, then this problem should not be present. Nobody wants to argue here, as I see it more as a controversial exchange of words.
