albator Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Does someone know a registry editor that can 'seek and destroy' reg keys, I would like to find them and delete them automatically.

waleed_wwn Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 RegScanner you can try this program . it is small but perfect http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/regscanner.html
Jose Sigafus Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Google search for "Registry Finder 1.0". It will delete all keys related to a program/supplier at the same time. Works great like when changing printers from one brand to another. $20.00 for a key.

Jeremy Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 RegSeeker (freeware) has a Find feature, and so does jv16 PowerTools.
jaclaz Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Won't good ol' REG.EXE be enough? http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documen...g.mspx?mfr=truehttp://www.robvanderwoude.com/ntregistry.htmlhttp://www.robvanderwoude.com/ntregquery.htmlOr maybe REGFIND?http://www.petri.co.il/download_free_reskit_tools.htmThe win2k version should work allright on XP, with only a minor glitch, easily fixed:http://www.jsifaq.com/SF/Tips/Tip.aspx?id=6003jaclaz
eidenk Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 (edited) Karen's Registry Ripper should be able to do that using the delete after saving option.http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptregrip.asp Edited April 21, 2007 by eidenk
[deXter] Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Registry Crawler is an awesome program - Its multi-threaded, so it can search millions of keys in just a few seconds!Once the search is done, you can do various tasks on it, like find within the search, search and replace so and so in so and so keys, delete, edit, export. It's the fastest Registry finder I've ever used.
