ricktendo Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) and a few others I read somewhere lately (around RyanVM IIRC) that also need to be included, but I'm not very convinced:KB973442KB974905KB943604KB970159 (with the aforementioned KB970158 and KB971286)Should I add any of them (last 2 lists)?for Windows Media Player 11 + KB970159 you can use this repacked installer http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/9898-repak-windows-media-player-11-kb970159/ Edited January 19, 2013 by ricktendo
Dogway Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 @ricktendo: The link doesn't work. So you mean that KB970159 is not necessary but optional hotfix? And implying I can't use it with Boooggy's slipstreamer so I should use your repacker?what about these?:KB973442KB974905KB943604KB970158KB971286My main concern on Boooggy's is that I can make my own localized addon, and that it automatically adds useful tweaks to WMP11 as 5eraph commented aboved.
bphlpt Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Yep, Rick. Looks like MediaFire blocked some of your downloads again.Cheers and Regards
Dogway Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) Hello Rick. Thanks for updating them!So the KB970159 comes included inside the WMP11 executable of your link, I switch the original with yours and make the slipstream with Boogy's slipstreamer as usual, right?Thanksedit: had a bit of trouble with your online downloader. Had to rename it from C38304DC1F12081F to *.exeedit2: according to HFSLIP I'd also need 2 non security hotfixes, KB973442, and KB974905, mentioned in my last post. 3 more to go...edit3: KB943604 is included here as needed. As far as I know, this one is a Media Pack, for the OS lacking the player, and stuff... I don't know why I would need it... Edited January 23, 2013 by Dogway
toppc12 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hi, what is the list of supported hotfixes for WMP11 slipstreamer? There was a list when the official web page was up.Maybe put that list on first post as well? Thanks in advance

Guest Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) KB952069-v2 is older than the installer and is not needed. Edited March 13, 2013 by -X-
Guest Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) Microsoft has updated the x86 installer since boooggy last updated his list. It's still needed for XP x64, however. Correction noted. Edited March 13, 2013 by 5eraph

Guest Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 List updated. KB2834904-v2 replaced KB2834904-v1. Added a remark about the first item of the list that IP.Board 3.4.5 fails to list properly (shouldn't be bulleted).
phaolo Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Uh.. is KB939683 really high priority? Shortcuts and WMP11?
Guest Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 If it's listed on the Microsoft Update website after a fresh WMP11 install, then it is high priority. Kurt_Aust lists the same high priority WMP11 updates, and I just verified them myself in a fresh Windows XP x64 install.
