YeuEmMaiMai Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 do you have your AGP drivers installed?Should be a listing for Something like SiS Accellerated Graphics Port or what not depending upon your Chipset.

Twisted Maniac, I think you should probably download/reinstall the Via Hyperion driver if you have a Via motherboard. If you're having trouble finding an AGP driver for another board, let me know and I can point it out to you. I'm guessing you have a VIA though.

NX1 Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 I have the exact same problem, same MSI mobo too...
b0r3d Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 You might even consider flashing your BIOS with the latest version. I suggest you check the motherboard's website to see if there are any known issues with your graphics card.
darph Posted September 15, 2003 Posted September 15, 2003 go in the bios and change the settings from the card you should find the settings by advance settings/pheriepherie settings
Twisted Maniac Posted September 16, 2003 Author Posted September 16, 2003 i got it runnong now...i installed the hyperion drivers and i forced my bios to agp 4x mode (it was in auto-mode)but now my nvdisp.dll keeps crashing
Aaron Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Easy answer for that, reinstall your nvidia drivers. Remember its the chipset software that should be installed first before any other driver.
praeferox Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Hello guys.I have the exact same problem, only with Asus A7n8x mainbord (nforce chipset drivers)I have geforce4ti4600 and installed newest drivers but it stands its in PCI modus in properties..If I install the unified driver package (mainbord drivers) my machine just hangs up..So Im wondering if anyone know how I can just install the agp drivers, I have them on my computer, but dont know how to install them. (Gart drivers)Hoping you guys can help me!
Firemasta Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Hi! Perhaps you need to install the AGP Miniport Driver that is released from AMD. I had the same problem: my geforce ran only in pci mode, so I installed this driver and now my gfx works in 4x agp.win2000 needs a apg-to-cpu driver, with some boards/processors the standard win2k driver wont work, so you need to install the amd driver.here is the link : http://www.hachre-doc.de.vu/ (in the main-menue --> MISC --> Grafikkarte im AGP-Modus) I hope i could help you.Cu, FiremastaMy Webpageeraser_home@gmx.de
