gamehead200 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 My iBook lasts up to 6+ hours on the minimum brightness!
prx984 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 (edited) lol 13 minutes? thats the way this comp was before i got a good battery for it. what speed is the K6-2? my dad has a toshiba satellite 366 amd and it gets less than 2 hours on a battery. bad computer he got though. terrible display my dad got 2 batteries free, and now they both last altogether 6 hours and 30 minutes. i started off at 8:30 this morning, doing quite a lot of stuff.not bad for a 7 year old laptop (dell inspiron 7000) Edited September 3, 2006 by Cygnus
prx984 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Well, how long does your battery last in your laptop?mine has been going for 6 hours now
trickytwista Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 roughly around 3hrs depending on usage
prx984 Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 man this poll got messed up i made the poll, yet spazmire11 is at the top
CoffeeFiend Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 It really depends. Screen on full intensity watching mpeg4 videos with lots of post-processing (CPU ~100%) and such, or screen dimmed low, cpu idle and such? I could pretty much pick all the options on that poll...
Nerwin Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 My Dads laptop can do about 4 hours and 3 hours on max brightness
sven Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I get 5+ hour with middle brightness, bluetooth turned off, wifi on, and video card at power save. I could probably get even more with all radios turned off and the brightness at the lowest, but it's hard to play internet games with the radio off during boring classes.
IcemanND Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 depends upon what I'm doing and if I'm using wireless or wired network.average around 4 hours, minimum has been 3 max around 7
Camarade_Tux Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 (edited) Asus A6T : from 2.5 to 3 hours.I think GeForce 7600Go is not the best card at power saving. :rolleys: Edited February 9, 2007 by Camarade_Tux
Zxian Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 I'm about the same as Iceman. 4-5 hours for the most part, and as low as 2 when I'm gaming on batteries... 6:40 is the longest that I've timed while using my laptop. I was doing just basic writing with that though. Wireless off, screen brightness down.
3aces Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Asus A6T : from 2.5 to 3 hours.I think GeForce 7600Go is not the best card at power saving. :rolleys:i cant find the link, but i used a modded inf file with lastest geforce drivers...and i have powersaving mode options in control panel........do a search
