liquidguru Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 for me, adobe premier pro 2 is a fantastic video editor...quotes from the Adobe Premier Pro 2 FAQsQ: Does Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 support 64-bit processors?A: Yes, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 works on 64-bit processors. However, it is not optimized for use on them, so you should not expect to see performance improvements.Q: Does Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 support AMD processors?A: Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 works with AMD processors that support SSE2. Please note the AMD Athlon XP processor does not support SSE2 and is therefore not supported byAdobe Premiere Pro 2.0.hope this helps
SomeoneElse Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 What kind of video editing are you planning on doing? If you're looking at just cutting (like commercials, etc) and cleaning (filters, resizing) then you can use Virtual Dub. It's free, easy, and has both 32bit and 64bit versions.VirtualDub.orgAlso, you can browse around the following sites for more video related (capture, edit, encode, author) tips:doom9.netVideoHelp.comHope this helps,SomeoneElse
KamiQuazi Posted June 1, 2006 Author Posted June 1, 2006 I need a piece of software the cuts, resizes, add and takes away audio, almost anything needed to work a piece of video. I'll try virtualdub out.

KamiQuazi Posted June 4, 2006 Author Posted June 4, 2006 Google.I did google and all i find is alot of text with no download of a filter.
Fredledingue Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 AviUtl, it's like Virtual Dub but much easier to use and IMO better. The only problem is that on some computers it doesn't work well or partialy and on other computers it works perfectly for unkown reason. But when it works it rocks.Note this program is not from me. I only did this help page.Freeware.http://www.geocities.com/fredledingo/aviutl.htm
Jeremy Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Google.I did google and all i find is alot of text with no download of a filter. It's well known that if the average cannot find what he/she is looking for in 3 clicks, he/she will stop looking at that particular webpage.http://neuron2.net/ < Click "Mine" on the left vertical menu and scroll down the following page.
SomeoneElse Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Maybe you should look into AviSynth.AviSynth.orgI usually use VirtualDub for cutting, then AviSynth for filtering/resizing, then pass the avisynth file into a video encoder for encoding (HC, MainConcept Mpeg Encoder, VirtualDub to Divx/Xvid, etc). You can even use AviSynth for cutting as well. The nice thing about AviSynth is that you can cut/filter/etc without having to create another temp file since the processing is done on the fly. Trust me, it very powerful and useful once you get into it Hope this helps,SomeoneElse
