Maybe you should look into AviSynth. AviSynth.org I usually use VirtualDub for cutting, then AviSynth for filtering/resizing, then pass the avisynth file into a video encoder for encoding (HC, MainConcept Mpeg Encoder, VirtualDub to Divx/Xvid, etc). You can even use AviSynth for cutting as well. The nice thing about AviSynth is that you can cut/filter/etc without having to create another temp file since the processing is done on the fly. What kind of video editing are you planning on doing? If you're looking at just cutting (like commercials, etc) and cleaning (filters, resizing) then you can use Virtual Dub. It's free, easy, and has both 32bit and 64bit versions. You can have both (1.1 and 2.0) .NET Frameworks installed at the same time. Just download the installers from microsoft, then run them. That's all there is to it. Why do you have .NET Framework 2.0 Beta installed though? 2.0 became final in November 2005.

Before you used fdisk and did a clean install, did you have a service pack installed with WinXP Pro? So, you did an install using WinXP Pro without Service Packs correct? If I remember corretly, WinXP Pro (No Service Packs) has a hdd limit of 137 GB. Your drives are much bigger than that. You need WinXP Pro with SP1 to over come the hdd limit. Do you happen to have a WinXP Pro disc with SP1 or SP2? If so, you can try making a BartPE disc to see if that can read the drives. Hope this helps, SomeoneElse

Here's two ways: First, open the word doc. 1) Go to the file menu, choose save as, then choose html. That will create an html page and a directory containing any images from the word doc. So, just go into the newly created directory and all the images will be in there. 2) Or right click on the image in the word doc, then hit copy (that will put it on the clipboard), then paste it into a paint program and save.
