glentium
Hello all!Can someone provide MD5 (or other) checksums of all hotfixes and updates for Windows XP SP2 (plus all the others for SP1a and W2K, etc)?I think it would be helpful in determining whether one has clean copies of these files... Kramy
That is a lot of hotfixes to get MD5's on. I don't think I'll be volunteering, but if you use USP, then here's the latest ver's w2ksp51.exe's MD5 on my computer:6A4E816C9E26FC44BB4B576DE06DA82Dhttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=72950&st=0That's the exe, not the zip it comes in. tain
This isn't that tough to do.Here is a guide. After adding MD5sums to the SendTo folder, you can select one or more files on the desktop (or in any other folder), and right-click to "Send To" md5sums. Each selected file will be processed.

tain
What exactly doesn't work? I checked the link and it is fine.
Camarade_Tux
MD5/hashes will be different for each language so it's not really possible to use them.

Electrician
Are you concerned that the downloads are corrupt? As for files being valid, just use the M$ Catalog files (but of course that would mean using SFC). Didn't the Win98 method allow users to "ok" non std files? Wish that could be brought back in w2k. I have never had a 2k system that, when told to "continue using..." afile it didn't like, would shutup about it. Well, short of disabling SFC.
