In fact, after runing the installer, i do not find NeroSuite.msi file but Nero.msi and SetupX.exe files

the guide works for the Web edition too - for the english version, i don't know for french package cause i use english nero versions.

there is only a problem with uninstallation (in my case) with an error (which doesn't block the uninstall at all) and manual shortcuts deletion.

make a batch/autoit script to uninstall nero, if u want, just look @ the uninstall part of nero & add those things 2 your autoit/batch script

I just found some idiotic "flaw" (?) when i tested UADVD on a VM format.

I had unpacked Nero 7 Demo (7.0.1.2) from web exe using WinRAR and created an AutoIt installer. But at install it was missing some .cab files in cab directory of Nero 7.

I noticed that when you just unpack the webdemo the dir is 320mb

run setup once and isntall nero and the same dir is 350mb

So before you BURN the CD/DVD make sure you have RUN the installer once so ALL the cabs are precent!

(Obviously these cabs cannot get unpacked when its on CD)

i think it expands some more cabs from the cab files.. whyever.. nero 7 is one of the biggest s*** i ever seen!

This is why in the guide in the first post keytotime says, that you should run the installer and copy the nero7.tmp folder out of %temp% and run an admin install with this as base. In the nero7.tmp folder, there are the additional cab files.

Guys

After much mucking around this appeared to work very well for me and I did not have to do any extractions or anything.

I downloaded the file from Nero (Nero-7.0.1.2_eng.exe)

I downlaoded the file from the 1st post (Nerocore.mst)

And ran this. Assuming you are running it from D:\Install

D:\Install\Nero-7.0.1.2_eng.exe TRANSFORMS=D:\Install\Nerocore.mst /qn /norestart

Note: You must specify the full path to the MST file.

Worked Perfectly for me hope it works fine for you guys.

P.S. It even created the icons only for the install components.

XPx64 users... if you REGEDIT this before installing your 7z switchless installer, shortcuts will be added, and product will be registered. I did not remove any components and 7zip compressed it to 96mb.

Works great but i have one little problem , when i uninstall nero the shortcut is still in start . Its because i use the nero 7 demo so nero it self is gone but the shortcuts not .
