Stalkie Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 I have a small problem with the beta 2 :-/The XPize_logon.exe is packed with PEC2, so I can't take the resources and insert them into my danish logon. Any chance we could get the unpacked version?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>That's not really a XPize problem<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Oh sorry I thought you made the logon *G*
XPero Posted July 31, 2005 Author Posted July 31, 2005 I didn´t make the logon, but still it is not XPIze problem if you want to rip off resources. Ask the author.

Roderik Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) Since installing this i've lost the + signs in the file tree in Zend Studio. It's a Java app if that helps Edited August 2, 2005 by Roderik
XPero Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 @slimy:Not here. Someone else having this problem? I spend a lot of time making all files available for install/uninstall, so you can try uninstalling it.@Roderik:Try uninstalling shell32.dll. I dont know if it will fix the problem. Tell me when you try.
Roderik Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) if uninstalling means running the exe and unselecting shell32.dll then it worked. The + is back. Edited August 2, 2005 by Roderik
XPero Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 if uninstalling means running the exe and unselecting shell32.dll than it worked. The + is back. Then it seems that the problem comes with the 128x128 icon support. Have tried earlier versions of XPize (3.x for example) Did you notice the same issue?

It also works on the unattended version through nlite. Seems like it just didn't apply completely the first time. Thx anyway for this great program
Avneet Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 winhlp32.exe is still corrupt in beta 2..replacing it with the original file fixes the problem
XPero Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 @Roderik:Great news @Avneet:winhlp32.exe has been removed in BETA 2. I bet you didnt uninstall BETA 1 and installed new one on top.
Avneet Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 umm dats funny i did uninstall and restarted the machine..anyway will try again on vmware..thanks
martin10018 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 (edited) Installed it yesterday (without vs, logon, extras) and everything is fine by now on my German XP Home. The only I don't like is the look of the trash in the dialog box for deleting files. It looks somewhat blurred. But it's a progress as I didn't like the red cross from the last version which was somewhat "slim" and difficult to see.I have no idea what to use instead???Edit:Maybe the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark?
