RickSteele Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 http://rapidshare.de/files/5044201/catfiles.rar.html<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Where do you put the ca_ files; in I386\SVCPACK, or just to the I386 directory of your install DVD
boooggy Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 the .ca_ files u put in i386\svcpack and also u have to add the entries on svcpack.inf.
RickSteele Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 the .ca_ files u put in i386\svcpack and also u have to add the entries on svcpack.inf.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>After nlite 1b6 no svcpack.inf, or DAT file, exists; so you now have 2 options:create both or let nlite integrate the fixes.
boooggy Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 dude....there is a svcpack.in_.........and u have to expand it....use start>run>expand -r location of svcpack.in_\svcpack.in_. then u edit the svcpack.inf, save it and recompress it back using makecab.then u add it to your i386 folder overwriteing the old one......
dale5605 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Or don't even bother recompressing it, just faster and easier that way.
eddy_71 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 (edited) I have a problem slipstreaming wmp10. When i startup the process i get the fiollowing error: Invalid folder. Check if the map exists or that it is read-only.My i386 map is read-only. When i try to change it either through explorer or using attrib it doesn't change this. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?I use the dutch xp pro sp2. Edited September 14, 2005 by eddy_71

fanatf1 Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 the .ca_ files u put in i386\svcpack and also u have to add the entries on svcpack.inf.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Is it REALLY needed ? Or i can do it in good old way.WMP10 slipstreamer v3 -> newWMP -> put in i386 thats it. ?
boooggy Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 @fanatf1yes u can do it the way u said..... it is needed only when u dont disable windows file protection (eg. with nlite)......

glent Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 I really think a fresh thread would be more suitable all updates in the first post etc
