bucketbuster
You need to download the pro version, install it, make a silent install and copy your home key to the Admin.iniYou will need the pro version also to install avast as Home Edition

Antivirus Home Edition 4.6.623']uid[pn]=['AVASTANTIVIRUS']excl[pn]=['AVGANTIVIRUS','KASPERSKYANTIVIRUS']cmd1[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Software\\Avast\\setupeng.exe /SP- /VERYSILENT /NORESTART']here's the switch only:setupeng.exe /SP- /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
Swimming_Bird
is there any way to silently register the serial number?I tried this method and it still prompted me for the serial on load of the program. although it did silently installEdit: upon further inspection it APPEARS (i'm not sure but i think) that the serial is propper but it still prompts me for it and when i dont enter anything in it gives me an error for not entering a serial then procedes as normal. while not essential this is an irritance. WotC
I think i HAVEN'T registered it when i installed yesterday. The scanner gets closed twice because of (neccessary) reboots. And after that there was no popup again. i was upset about the popup at the beginning, too - what for, its free anyways!
mad_mattx
sorry about the late reply, I didn't know it got so popular.http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38007did not work the first time as I had a conflicts else where (strange that it effected the silent installation). It now works, so if an admin could delete this thread it would be much appreciated. Thanks
