SiMoNsAyS Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Personally I use an NEC 3500, has behaved impeccably so far! nec 3500 too. great quality/price.
Drewdatrip Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I like the LiteOnModel: 1633S06C16x Double LayerThe Device is so similar to the latest Sony drive you can reflash the LiteOn with its bios, and get the a speed increase on the Double layer side of the burningI have sold several hundred of these Drives and had very few problems. They are very versitile when it comes to media. From what i can tell they really liek the Riteck or Ridata, which works out cause they are cheep and very good media.|Drew|
trickytwista Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 pioneer dvdr-108 is **** good toy...16x burn and double layer..totally happy here with no coasters..cheers..gaz
dk01 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Any Plextor... those are really great, but a bit expensive. Now, the best quality-price I've tried is ASUS 1604P/D (16x DL).
TiXer Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Plextor has got some really good dvd burners.. My Plextor works like a charm.. But as mentioned above, it's a bit expensive..
Astalavista Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 plextor is great but not for copying or backing up games and music and dvd.
thomasd Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 When choosing my new DVD burner I read several tests and reviews on the internet. The burner that had the best reviews and had the best performance and features is the NEC 3500A.So I bought the NEC burner and it works great, no problems at all.
TiXer Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 plextor is great but not for copying or backing up games and music and dvd.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I haven't had any problems with this with my Plextor.. I'm using it mostly for this, and haven't encountered a single problem yet..
TiXer Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 @ Astalavista: No, not for pirating.. I use it to backup stuff I'm working with at my job.. I also use it for all my pictures and films I make for fun.. Haven't got a big Hdd and can't afford one right now, so I burn out my pics when the hdd goes full.. My pictures alone can fill a dvd..
Astalavista Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 i was only kidding ok i hope u are not mad at me. we know that noneof the members of msfn pirates software.
