IE Cause it's fast

The only reason it's fast is because it preloads certain DLLs in Windows. Neat Microsoft trick if you don't mind resources being taken up when you're not using it.

IE here.

IE = screendoor in terms of security. Use IE for a few weeks and then run adaware and see how many spyware items you've picked-up.

Then u've obviously haven't used ne other browser.(tried opera?)

Then u'll know.

Each window of IE occupies approx. 6720KB of u'r RAM whereas in opera u can assign how much of it has to be used and there's of course tabbed browsing which doesn't open another window which is scrappy as it loads u'r ram which might be low!

also, i can see why firefox turns some people off initially. i didn't think all that much of it myself when i first tried it. you really need some good extensions to get the functionality you want but, oh boy, with the right exts, it's great! i'll never go back to IE... EVER!

Used IE for years, original and best in my opinion.

Never had any problems with it slowing down, taking up resources...my view anyway

FireFox for everything exept Windows Update

I just returned to IE6. I tried Firefox for a month and was getting too many problems. Some useful stuff on Firefox.

F or everything except for windows update.

Always used IE, basically because I can't be arsed to install an alternative.
