I asked someone that I now and they said that it would work having WinXP as a database. He was in Toronto (Canada) earlier this year and had a "breakfast with Bill Gates" which had over 2000 ppl. Gates talked to everyone about the upcoming OS.

I gotta pee.........be right back!!!

What's with you and posting stuff that has nothing to do with the topic?

BTW, you shouldn't post such big images in topics!

Posting Guideline #3: Do not post large screen shots in threads. Please provide a link to the picture and host it on your own webspace. Always keep in mind we have several members on 56k and loading a thread with a few desktop shots can be quite troublesome.

based on info I have learned through work and also through reports in the press the key new stuff will be:

- SQL Server based file system - all brand new

- new OS API - which will enable the new graphical (3D) interface

- enhanced support for rewritable drives (CD-RW, DVD-RW)

- new version of IE

- enhanced security (yeah right)

  • 3 weeks later...

I think M$ will spend quite a bit of time making the NT 6.0 kernel more "safe"... Cause I also think M$ is tired of the image Windows has, "Bugfilled & unsecure" ...

And I hope that they will make LH more configurable ... aka ad some "super user mode" where everything can be changed! ... All that "userfriedlyness" isen't really my cup of tea!
