gmx Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Heck, just leave the XML creator out....We want XPlode2 NOW!!!!! my thoughts exactly
rbianco Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 IMHO, it would be better if you updated the main site with any news, and post in this forum only 2 words: "site updated". This would be easier for you to mantain (i think), easier for us to look for any news on your excellent tool, and better for keeping the forum for its main job: to be a forum = a place where people talk about something, which is different from a place where to search for updates on something.... And you would have an up-to-date website, which it isn't at the moment.Everything IMHO, and just to be as precise and tedious as i can be. All this doesn't impact on my good opinion on your work!
kurt476 Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 i hope xplode creator is easier becuase i don't know any thing about programing in html yet i haven't done any web pages
Wraith Posted November 6, 2004 Author Posted November 6, 2004 Front page of site updated. And something of interest - commands will now be able to be executed under a different user's context - not limited to just executing things as another user - can copy files, etc. etc. under another account. More information will be added later, but essentially it means there's no reason why per-user settings can't be done without manually running programs.
rbianco Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 Front page of site updated. HEY! These are FIVE words, not TWO! Just kidding...
SlimShady Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 How is it going? Is it almost finished?I'm going to start playing with nLite after that I'll create a new XP Pro CD.I was just wondering: When do you think the new version is finished? You don't have to tell us what day exactly, give us a week number.
thehalon Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 * October 25: XPlode3 core module - XML parser * November 1: XPlode3 core module - Data storage * November 2: XPlode3 silent install module * November 8: XPlode3 full display module * November 15: XPlode3 effects modules * November 22: XPlode3 XML creator UI draft(first post)That means to me: We have to wait a little.
FuNKeR Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 As far as I read that correctly, it will be finished on my birthday 22/11/04cuFuNKeR

SlimShady Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Ofcourse I saw that schedule. But as he said:Other stuff will likely be added, and dates changed. You know how things go.I just wanna know the status and in which week it'll be finished.
Wraith Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 Week 57. I'm in the middle of exams, so there is no production going on - the dates should pretty much be pushed back 3 weeks.
Wraith Posted November 19, 2004 Author Posted November 19, 2004 Dates changed.... exams are over, but I have a couple of projects to finish off first. We'll see how things go...

Wraith Posted November 23, 2004 Author Posted November 23, 2004 Chirstmas might be too early - I now have my first full-time job (shock, horror! ), and finding any motivation to do MORE coding is a bit hard at the moment. We shall see.Actually, I'll try and get more stuff going tonight.
