How would I replace the uxtheme.dll on Windows which is currently installed? I tried safe mode and through the prompt but continue to get a error that it is currently being used while overwritting it.

I've had this problem too, the way i've found to fix it is to rename the file to uxtheme0.dll, and then add the new file.

Thanks, SovereignScorn!

Heh, never even tried that. I zipped it to make a backup, but never bothered renaming it. Of all the stupid things Microsoft does.
