Drewdatrip Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 You know Gamehead, You can change the size of your Icaon while still having a decently high resolutionLeft click your desktop>Properties>Apperance>Advancedthen hit the down arrow and you can modify the size of icons by selecting the icon option and changing size, to what you see fit...=Drew
FthrJACK Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 kinda defeats the object of why i suggested a higher res tho doesent it drew? his frame rate will be beter in games with that res too heh a friend of mine has his settings similar to yours gamehead for the same reason.what size monitor are you on out of curiosity?

lynchknot Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Gamehead, you can also remove the black box surrounding the text below your icons - unless you like it that way. My computer-rt.click > Properties > advanced tab > Performance-settings > scroll down to second to the last checkbox and check "Use drop shadows..............."
