roytam1 Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Some visitor told me about that, and he recorded a video for this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yjY6egEq10sl-GVQTQykCwRgaodtMtSd/view?usp=sharing 2
roytam1 Posted February 13 Author Posted February 13 and discord preview shows that thai language site as well:
EliraFriesnan Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Never happened to me. Could be a redirect malware lurking on your PC? The one that edits HOSTS, for example. 2

Agreed. I've never seen this happen either. But even so, the responsible thing to do is for the form owner to investigate. I wish that the video report was better resolution, I can't see anything. But I do see an EXTENSION in the upper right corner that I do not recognize.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Disregard on extension... I took a second look and that's the guy's Google Profile Avatar.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I have an added curiosity though - he's running Supermium, is this happening ONLY in Supermium?
Tripredacus Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) At least 3 people have the issue, including myself. It only happens on Iron (on win 7 but not Win 10), not Firefox or Chrome for me. I don't know what triggers it, I don't know how to intercept that. Edited February 13 by Tripredacus 1
NotHereToPlayGames Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Not to state an obvious, but it looks like a DNS issue to me. Like the browser is using it's "own" DNS and not the OS's. Other than DNS settings specific to Iron, I wouldn't know how to intercept either.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted February 13 Posted February 13 What about "certificate" that is being used in Win7 versus what is being used in Win10? Okay, I'll shut up now, I can only speculate as I'm on 10 and not able to replicate.

NotHereToPlayGames Posted February 13 Posted February 13 So it only happens to people with Discord? (I don't have Discord.) I did try to replicate in Supermium on XP and in Iron on XP. Could not replicate. I was hoping to be helpful, but looks like nothing I can do to even try to force this redirect. I'll sit back and wait for the experts to have time to investigate. I may install a Win7 VM this afternoon (for nothing more than curiosity and kind of "wanting" to replicate).
modnar Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) I did not see it happen here (with Serpent 52.9). Edited February 13 by modnar 1
