I cannot get this "out of date" banner/notification/blob even with 360Chrome 13.5 which only uses CHROME ENGINE v86!

We've been through this many times, you don't get because Cloudflare already got your successfully generated unique variations API key on all browsers, including SM, which you drag with you across all computers. You showed it to us, already don't remember?

Thanks, it may be the case, I of course don't use the default SM UA.

My theory is that this is OPERATING SYSTEM.  The notification is just GENERIC and says "browser" but IT IS NOT THE BROWSER THAT IT DOESN'T LIKE.

That's my theory.

Wrong, but thanks. And then again, I can get there with other browsers on the same OS. CatsXP of the same version works fine, Ungoogled 110/111 works fine. I can't run higher versions of Ungoogled due to the need of the Dwrite.dll "platform update" for the stupid coloured smileys,/fonts, which I don't want/not_going_to install.

Nice conspiracy.  But not true.  I had to land on the Cloudflare "am I human".  For me, it then PASSES.

If you want to follow this conspiracy, THEN STOP REPORTING THESE "browser updates" on Cloudflare.

THE WORLD YOU ARE STRIVING FOR IS THAT WHEN YOU LAND ON THIS, EXIT THE BROWSER AND NEVER RETURN TO THAT WEB SITE.

BUT NO!  YOU WANT THE CLOUDFLARE TO *PASS*.  YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS - either you want access to the web site, including a passing human verification, OR YOU DO NOT, you can't have it BOTH WAYS.

I suppose this could be the same thing that is going on with my credit card.  It's also cited on BRAVE browser forums.  v122, v123, and v124 of Ungoogled WORK.  v121 and lower do NOT work.  v125 and higher do NOT work.

Among the installed browsers on PC, I have the easiest time passing with Pale Moon 33.3.1 or SeaMonkey 2.53.17 (this one is two versions behind), doesn't show captcha at all. The rest are all old Firefox 110 or Chromium 117/94. I have to click the checkbox for being human, then it passes. Chromium 119 on my smartphone took more than 3 attempts to be able to pass, but it did in the end. Last time I wrote 117, but 119 is correct and also the final one for Android 7.

In other words, you don't know the reason. Coulda, shoulda, woulda... The shallow minded sourceforge owner needs to switch that "protection" ASAP, before that site, everyone forgot about 20 years ago, died out completely.

Mind I ask, what does the bank support say? Reboot the PC?

What does your "variations" string tells?

chrome://version/

It's not a "conspiracy". I only got 1 (one) "Variation", and it's my dark theme, without it the sites simply won't know I need their dark background from them,

So yeah, it's a fingerprint of millions of users that use dark themes. But then again, I don't have those uniquely generated keys, like you.

Please prove me wrong.

You are living a fantasy.  Aren't you the one that sends an EMPTY variation?  Doesn't get any more UNIQUE than that.

The more you prevent "fingerprints", THE MORE YOU STAND OUT AS UNIQUE.

An empty string *IS* a fingerprint!  What about that can you not comprehend?  Sell your computer, sell your phone, stop paying your ISP, whoala, there's your next step.

Done.  Stick a fork in me.  Debate with some folks is like talking to the wall.

As do I.  I've already proven that to you once.  You don't listen.  You only hear what you want to hear.

But having one variation DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING.  A fingerprint is comprised of dozen of dots.  Forensics.

I don't remember what the "dot" is called, but a "variation" being EMPTY is a rock-solid "dot".  Piece that with other "dots", and you are fingerprinted.

You really are living a fantasy if you think you haven't been fingerprinted.  I will laugh hysterically if you have a Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook account but then shout "I have no fingerprint".

Yes you do!  End of story!

I asked, what does your "variations" string tell, only after I stated mine is empty, because the dark theme is not a variation per se. Yours is a unique number, mine is a dark theme only, feel the difference?

Can't tell as I don't use full browser app so that page is non-existent, but the one depending on WebView, so it would be whatever is default for Chromium WebView component on Android. It's the only way I'm aware of to keep resource usage down, OS already takes more than half RAM, have mere 1 GB of RAM to play with.

The most you see is this through hidden DevTools.

You are DENSE, you know that?  THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE.  A unique number and EMPTY are the SAME EXACT THING as far as a FINGERPRINT is concerned.

IT IS A UNIQUE IDENTIFIER, ONE DOT ON THAT FINGERPRINT.
